As for the timing, it is natural to respond right after a terror attack. Arguably the PA chose the time, thinking that they would send a message to India that Kashmir is not resolved and they still have the capability to ramp up pressure on India.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist but as native of Bahawalpur, they attacked a masjid very close to cantt. BWP has a massive military base near my village which is just outside of the city. These guys come and investigate you in plain clothes or with police uniforms even if your land is a few km from the base. They are not idiots.

To think they had no idea BWP would be hit either points to incompetency or collusion.

I was in Pakistan in 2019 attending funeral in my village of my Nani brother a day after Mr. Tea was fantastic was captured. All I will say is
This is a VERY stressful situation in a very constrained environment and top to bottom things are being done to try and extract maximum favorable result despite the bungling of typical suspects.

I have EXTREME differences with those in power and leadership - but there are also many in those power circles, in uniform and bureaucracy and other places who are doing a STELLAR.

I agree partly to this.
I work and have worked with Indians in sections and organization's where they were in majority or minority.. in both cases, majority Indians despise us and treat us differently than Muslims from India. infront of Hindus majority stay quiet and or enjoy the show as spectators. most dare not say a word against modi or the Indian government. I have encountered only 3 Indian muslims in last 2 decades who were bold, outspoken or treated muslims from Pak as equal or without hatred.
in inidan minority places these ***** will gather once now and then and favorite topics are cricket, investment via shares, property and bitcoin etc and pakistan and Pakistanis. They justify their logic and hatred towards pakistan creation through logics that only arnab can comprehend and accept. They live in a false state of grandeur and I do not mean economy or education wise. Now the situation is just at another level in muslim majority places.

No. He didn't know his flight controller was calling him back to the air base as Pakistan had jammed his communications. He was under the assumption that as there were no instructions asking him to abandon the mission he could simply carry on.
