This was one of the most bizarre and poorly planned air operations in modern history. Over 70 Indian jet fighters were crammed into a narrow airspace while their adversary, Pakistan, was fully equipped with PL-15 beyond-visual-range missiles with a reach of up to 200 miles. To make matters worse, Pakistan’s ground defence systems were fully active. Bringing so many fighters into the same location was a strategic disaster—it became a literal shooting gallery. If one missile missed its target, there was another jet in close range to hit. It was total chaos. This disastrous decision will haunt the Indian Air Force for the next 40 to 50 years. They’re in complete disarray. Even if you gave them F-35s today, they’d still mess it up—because their confidence and morale are now at rock bottom.

Indians exactly want Pakistanis to digest this onslaught by getting into that we shot down 3 or 5 fighter jets.

We have to understand this. Our pilots did a marvelous job by neutralizing some of the enemy attackers but that does not mean we have given a response to enemy action.

Pilots did a great job but the form47 govt and their touts and doing all-out effort to stop military from giving the response. Saw most worrying statements from some of the form47 jokers. When your airforce is showing dominance then its your chance to go and punish the enemy same way they did with your citizens. I mean you don't even have to go as much severe but nothing short of deep strike / hitting main land india.

What's the net contribution of this absolute garbage govt of from47 so far ? Only blunderous statements both before and AFTER the indian attack. That cartoon khawaja asif ruined our position in that Yalda's interview and now after the attack made a most stupidiest statement that we have indian soldiers as POWs. India cashes these points and they make fun because of these silliest remarks. In 2019 the bastards of N-league ruined our victory by giving statements like taangien kaanp rahee theen aur mathay per passeeena tha. My only frustration is this deliberate attempt of PMLN and their touts to make a narrative that Pakistan already has given a response. I hope armed forces don't give a sh!t to these puppets and do what they are paid to do. Restore the deterrence by striking back. India cannot escalate knowing fully that PAF dominates in the skies.

That might be because PAF has close relations with the PLAAF, thus can get a lot of insight into the J-10C.

Can't say the same between India and France, where France give India diplomatic support for buying French products, but tends to still keep India at arm's length when it comes to defense cooperation.

Agreed, issue is did the IAF make the most of the Rafale? I do not think so.

Were Rafale's sent frequently abroad for DACT against other countries?
Were IAF pilots on exchange often with French to learn tactics or even attend their version of CCS?
Ws the Rafale enable to be data linked to their Phalcon or Neta or even each other?
How many hours flight time were they getting?
Were they able to practice live firing of Meteor? (Very expensive missile)
Could India's Russian/Israeli/Indian air defences recognise and "talk" with the Rafales?
Before joining Rafale sqds what planes were the Indian pilots flying?

All of the above would have played a combined factor in their performance in addition to the technical abilities of the RBE2, Meteor and Spectra

I honestly have no idea what they were thinking—but from what I understand, sending over 70 jet fighters into a narrow airspace was beyond reckless. It’s hard to believe this was a planned attack. It almost seems like they were just out on routine sorties and suddenly got orders from ground control to strike. Maybe even they were surprised. Or maybe the Pakistani Air Force set a perfect trap. Whatever the case, it’s like they tried to act smart—like something straight out of an Indian movie—but reality hit hard.

Still, my brain can’t fully process how badly they screwed up. We’re talking about 70 fighters—possibly more if we include two-seaters. That means dozens of trained pilots, yet not one of them seemed to question what was going on? No real coordination, no situational awareness—just a blind dive into a fully defended zone, where Pakistan had PL-15 missiles with 200-mile range and active ground defences. If one missile missed, it had another jet right next to it to hit. It was a total mess. Either their pilots were flying without using their heads, or their ground command planned this like amateurs. This wasn’t just a failure—it was military suicide. And it’s going to haunt the Indian Air Force for decades.

Are yall this dense to call a defensive measure as your total retaliation? Shooting down of Indian jets was a defensive measure during that strike. A heavy retaliation is needed or otherwise get used to India upping the stakes with each skirmish.

I think you have seen my pattern of posting in the last few months. I have utmost faith and respect for those with the power when it comes to defending our soils. This army is one of the most respected and it will I believe make the right decision at the right time.
I am really angry that with no confirmed evidence that the Indians have decided to kill children and attack a mosque building - at the same time we must show patience and have complete faith in the coming response.
Let’s not get into a frenzy of panic - that’s what the enemy wants.
