But well done by the PAF, it would be interesting to see in the following weeks what transpired. I suspect there's backchannel talks going on to defuse the situation. Pakistan should publicize the downed jets claims with evidence, and call it a day rather than retaliate.

What Pakistan did was completely a defensive action. Shooting down some of attackers who were still in range.

Its never a response to that gross violation of nation state that Modi committed by striking right on our cities, Muridkey, Bhawalpur, Kotli and more sites. Did you see those explosions in the cities and fireballs. The videos which our people made and the way people were rushed to hospitals. Calling the retaliation off means giving india a liscence to do that whenever it wants.

On shooting down jets, Pakistan has already the evidence (those videos & photos of wreckages) but remember india will NEVER accept it. International media will also report it in a way that a claim by Pakistan which india denies. Remember they gave medal to Abhinandan for downing F-16. So expect anything. However, they will remember huge explosions and fireballs in their mainland india as what they did to us.

As for escalation, they will not escalate given PAF clear supremacy at the LOC and beyond.

Any Strike Package will have to deal with S-400 SAM System, i was wondering how far are they from the border since they did not played any role last night.

they will go active once PAF crosses the line (Border) not the LOC

If it's truly that range and the effectiveness that India/Indians used to hype about...then it should've according to Indians made it impossible for PAF jets to even take off from Pakistan...
...as S400 would be able to shoot them down from within Indian territory close to the border.

Clearly, it's either not as effective as hyped.
Or it's placed much further inland(more so to guard certain key sites as part of a layered network) as opposed to the fanboys who thought it would be right next to the border...
...or it's more inland to keep it out of range of things like Pakistan's Fatah MLRS or stand off weapons.
Another reason could be PAF successfully suppressed it(SEAD).

Either which way...it was somehow not in play during these skirmishes...which is either embarrassing for Russia(if the system isn't as good as advertised/hyped)...or embarrassing for Indian armed forces for not being able to utilize it properly/effectively...

...but most definitely it is embarrassing for the Indian fanboys that used to dream of enforcing a no flyzone on the entirety of Pakistan. Just like Raptor of the east...and all the other wet dreams...this one too...is right up there...shown to be just a wet dream.

Trump tells India and Pakistan to ‘stop’ clashes​

US President Donald Trump has called for India and Pakistan to halt their fighting immediately, and offered to help end the worst violence between the nuclear-armed countries in two decades, AFP reports.

“It’s so terrible,” Trump said at the White House. “I get along with both, I know both very well, and I want to see them work it out. I want to see them stop.

“They’ve gone tit-for-tat, so hopefully they can stop now.

“We get along with both countries very well, good relationships with both, and I want to see it stop,” Trump said in the Oval Office.

“And if I can do anything to help, I will be there.”

Pakistan should ask all Muslim nations that sell oil to India to halt their shipment until these hostilities continue. Dead Serious.

If they continue it should be seen as a HOSTILE ACT and pakistan should reconsider their security arrangements and pull out if necessary. Why should we defend those who fuel our enemy?
