What happened in POONCH occupied Kashmir

Im assuming it was just strikes by Pakistan, but different sources saying a barrel load of indians died there

This is not a case of hurling a rock onto the other side. Their air defenses and missile defenses are up. If we want to hit hard with effect and ensure that we can manage the situation, there is no need to rush it.

I can guarantee, Indian security is in a state of despair. They know that the only thing left in their arsenal is pitching missiles from standoff ranges as they cannot take on Pakistan in the air or at sea.

Pakistan needs to give a cold, calibrated response, nothing rushed. "Revenge is a dish best served cold" applies all the more here. Make them wait, nervously, profusely sweating, expending massive resources to sustain their state of readiness only to be surprised yet again, inshallah.

Got to agree with @Whirling_dervesh here.
PAF and armed forces did an excellent job last night, you should appreciate their work.

Remember that it took India a whole two weeks to come up with the strike last night and yet they still fcked it up unbelievably.

PAF will respond in due time, with due diligence and enough skill to effectively avenge the kids who the Indians killed last night, as well as maintaining a solid deterrence that humbles the expanding wannabe Hindu rasthra

If not for Bahawalpur - any response would be already done and this winding down. India actually complicated its situation (which idiot from ICS advised it) by hitting there. They were convinced mainland could be hit and red line crossed because its “narrative” except now Pakistan is stuck that its done a heck of a lot of damage and deaths on the Indian side but it cannot really pick a suitable target in India to retaliate and also provide India and itself the right exit strategy from this.

Only reinstatement (in whatever form) of the IwT mechanisms will clear the points board truly for Pakistan. Otherwise regardless of what Pakmil did to India post the attack - in the minds of both populations and also military India will have won the “better hand” perception war.

This is the biggest issue with such moves is that you not only have to consider your perspective but also your foe’s.
