How sure are you that India will take our retaliation on the chin and call it a day? How sure are you that if they counter-retaliate, the price we will have to pay would be worth quenching your thirst for blood?

Pakistan has given a befitting response. I certainly do not want to risk the lives of my loved ones, our brave pilots, soldiers, and seamen, or squander the hard-earned money of our nation, to see India's tally of their dead bodies equal our fallen. It is how we react, or rather, reform our country in peacetime, that will deter future threats from Hindutva. And that reaction does not involve recourse to attitudes and strategies that have clearly been failing us for the last 78 years.
