A lot of numbers are being circulated here and all other social media regarding the number of indian jets shot and engaged. My take..
So far IAF is maintaining an unprecedented silence over the whole thing. Even media and "reliable" experts like shiv aroor and Abhijit Iyer are not disclosing anything except some cryptic quotes. So it's obvious that some upset has happened.
*I was watching the whole thing in real time. By 4:00 IST some folks here posted about Indian jets begin getting crashed/ shot. Then news quoting some " defence officials" came on pakistani channels. This was picked by other international media and a circular quoting chain started.
In india "Hindu" was the first to came with the story of 3 jets shot/ crashed. But the image was of some discarded Fuel tank outside a school in Indian Kashmir. No source was given. Later on the tweet was deleted and apology released.

Now The Hindu being a well known MSM this post got wide coverage . All other media houses made this one the base of their reports.
Meanwhile PDF and other pakistani media was going wild over the numbers. 3-4-5-6 jets + UAV were claimed to be shot.
I witnessed All types of real/ fake/edited images in those few hours.
It was a wild night.
Now so far the only "credible" reported incident is from Bhatinda.
Even there no official update has came so far.
The mystery of Bhatinda is further compounded by the distance between the crash site and IB. It's not possible that any jet shot near the IB or in pakistani air space can fly till the crash site. The PAF jet has to enter Indian Space to shoot it. This is something denied by both sides.
My hunch is that the Jet got damaged due to pakistani AA fire / or technical malfunction during the attack and tried to return to base but got crashed 20 km away from Bhatinda Air Base.
Or worse it was shot by own AA.
If any PAF jet was involed in the shooting then they must be having Gun camera or other proof. So far nothing has came out.

I am confident a response will come.
We are in a position not to rush....the enemy is disorientated and embarrassed. Low morale. Let them panic a while and make more mistakes. They fired into the sky in amritsar....
A response MUST come. Muslims across the globe have become used to their mosques getting destroyed by fanatics, either the zionist "Judeo-christian" terrorists and now the Hindutva cow worshiping idolatrs. We are used to our children getting blown up.
30 of our civilians died via direct STATE ACTION. No Muslim nation has murdered innocent civilians in another state via deliberate state action. Please sit back and ask yourselves why we have allowed this to become normalised?
Pakistan must retaliate. RSS infrastructure are legitimate targets....in fact, they are logical targets if we wish to rebalance the status quo.

1. To find our assets as a pre-emptive measure and
2. To buy time and force Pakistan to re-organize and scum under foreign pressure to not launch retaliatory strikes.
Pakistan will respond I'm sure of this. Note there have been a few own goals by India in past two days including in Amritsar. Most likely a tactic employed by Pakistan to cause damage and asses their air defence systems and locations before a big retaliation.
Its a game of chess....

The Israelis, Indians, even the US openly attack civilians disguised as attacking "terrorist infrastructure". Pakistan needs to do the same. They attack your "hard-line" civilians, you attack their RSS and BJP infrastructure. It's as simple as that. Do what they unto you, back to them. Match every move they make with the equivalent. Increase the stakes by escalating. Call their bluff all the way to full out war.

Fact that 12 (as claimed by ISPR) have been shot down, there is a possibility that atleast a few would have found their targets and done some meaningful damage.
It is unlikely that any side would accept any loss whatsoever at this stage of conflict. None wants that other side to be seen as stronger. It would come out later when dust settles down.
A retaliation by Paksiatn is most likely. That retaliation would now govern the course of action by India.
If launching of drones by India (if true) is an indication, that they are provoking the other side to take some decisive and visible action by launching strikes against targets in India. Unlike initial attacks the drone incursions are purely military in nature.

I am very angry right now but let’s calm down. Do you think I am fool when I asked Chinese member to send help to pakistan? I even urged him to send army and also wanted pakistan to open gates in Kashmir, the place where china and pakistan border connects. Pakistan is in a state of shock because they think that india will miss the target and stop. End of escalation. India quietly mobilized entire army with almost no pictures videos in social media because of crackdown.
They are there to end us this time or at least take back our Kashmir. I still believe that most of our armed forces are still daydreaming that india will stop. India will beat the hell out of us if we don’t target Indian civilians. Why civilians? It will put pressure on india to stop because they are cowards from inside and can’t see blood of their own people. You have to read pervez Musharraf, what a hero! I miss pervez Musharraf.
With drone attacks, intention is clear. Next targets are lahore and karachi and we can’t stop them because of lack of interceptors. We didn’t build any sams. We were busy in making ababeel. Take nuclear weapons in your as•••.
Defensive approach destroys your country. It creates panic in society. It so hard to forget those cruise missile strikes from india. It was like we are Palestine etc. now this. I hope everyone here knows the location of malir. If they can reach malir, they can reach masroor airbase as well.
I had some of the dreams again and again. One dream is a Moulvi type person giving me a bottle, old bottle with cork that sails in water etc. there was a ladder that goes high into the sky and the preacher or moulvi disappears in the sky. This give me ability to sense danger before something happens like sleep paralysis, activation of sixth sense and some spiritual stuff.
There was also a dream, seeing Indian kets flying lOw at night and going straight towards Paf base Faisal. I saw this dream 3 to 4 times and I always knew that full fledged war will start. I don’t know if it starts today or tomorrow or after years, but it will start and i sensed this danger that pakistan will lose chunk of their territory to india.
This is what happens when you become overconfident. We had 70 years to forge outstanding relations with china but our military kept busy in American camp and now Americans have completely abandoned us. I wanted a pact so that Chinese army can enter pakistan just like it helped North Korea etc. thing is clear. War is coming and we aren’t prepared. We are overconfident. We paid the price.
We have never focused on interceptors. Result is seen clearly. It’s pathetic. We have never tried to take back siachen. We are happy with nuclear weapons. Unfortunately nuclear weapons can’t save us. We don’t even have nuclear submarine, a clear edge to india etc. overall, it’s pathetic.
