Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

The time when there was trust between the nations to demand and give proof vanished long back
The mistrust is on a very high level.

Many members here have been demanding action by Pak defence forces as of yesterday. They are also not happy with weak statements by few leaders that side.
What they need to understand is that the statements are meaningless.
My take is that there would be a counterattack 200% by Pakistan.
No one declares the timing.

Would there be a further escalation after that? I hope not.

Alot of people on social media are spreading fear and propaganda. India made it very clear, they did not want to target Pakistan military but only terrorist centre which they allegedly claim it was a Mosque and Maddrassa, India doesn't want any more escalation. The question is will Pakistan retaliate or will the claim of shooting 5 Indians jets is enough. If Pakistan does retaliate then India will 500% retaliate. It will be Iran/Israel scenario but it will depend on what kind of attack. Keep in mind both nations have the capability to target each other bases etc, the reason they don't do it is because they know the other side will do the same.

India since 2018 I believe has publicly shown interest in swarm drone technology.

This may come into play in as India leverages its drone arsenal to identify locations of and saturate Pakistani air defences.

This is a particular capability that Pakistan should seek to surpass India in

Americans called Pakistan yesterday

And today the tone is sounding different

Why the hell we allow USA have so much influence on us ?

We havnt even replied to their attack and today India is using drones to hit Pakistan

So now India has conducted 2 offensive operations

And Pakistan has done only 1 defensive ?

The public want answers ?

You’ve raised an interesting point. Somehow, I feel that India is positioning itself for a much larger showdown with Pakistan—one that would ultimately work in their favor, given the vast difference in resources. More importantly, such a scenario could give them the strategic justification to walk away from the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT), something they've hinted at in the past.

Their behavior over the last three days suggests they are not backing down. A few military losses seem to have been anticipated and factored in. If this escalates into a full-spectrum conflict, India’s size and capacity will start to matter in a big way.

What’s also striking is how disproportionate India’s response has been to the terrorist attack. It doesn’t feel like a standalone retaliation—it feels like they’re gaming for something much bigger, possibly long-planned.

The question is: Are they trying to lure Pakistan into that trap?
they do not have vast difference in resources, that premise is fundamentally wrong.

You guys invaded your own country (East Pakistan), raped millions of women who belonged to the same religion and lost a quarter of your total territory. No one is more retarded than you.

We targeted HINDUS

Bangladesh is a free Muslim state as per partition

Millions of Hindus ran or were killed in Bangladesh to ensure, Bangladesh remained a free Muslim state

To Gen Asim Munir:
