People are celebrating, but India has been attacking civilian places for the past 24 hours while Pakistan has been sticking to IOK.

For a VERY good reason -
Unfortunately - fingers are now sore trying to explain the thousand factors in play before making a decision.

Its messaging at play - India wants the all out situation and everyone outside is seeing how stubborn they are so are requesting Pakistan and Pakistan is doing the bare minimum to keep a deescalation ladder open.

The idea is for the U.S/west to bolster India and use them to counter and put pressure on China

Use the natural flashpoints between China and India to the wests advantage and force China to then send forces and resources to the west so their are less available for Taiwan

So if China starts pushing for its rights against Taiwan, India can suddenly start acting up forcing China to it's western borders again


The problem they and the west have is Pakistan and South Asia supports China and doesn't trust India at all and Pakistan acts as a natural counter to India to keep India under control

The Taiwanese regime is also greatly panicking of seeing the Rafale got shot down by the PL-15 like super easy targets.

They are immediately asking the US for the solution to counter the PL-15.
