Or they can bring up any person, declare him a Pakistani pilot and then say Pakistan is refusing to acknowledge their own pilot. Another one form their playbook.

They could do that as well - the key here is they are pushing a narrative they cooked up after their beating in the air to enable a full on conflict. They have support from outside that their narrative will be “accepted”

3. Upon questioning who they will bring up Kargil and say Pakistan denied casualties back then but never return any body if asked.

Which means there are for eg. 3 major strike back plans with 20 different variants of each that are up - but as intel comes in, things develop - the go no go for this changes or gets refined
