There has been no official announcement by India other than the press conference after Sindoor was launched.
DG ISPR has been holding regular press conferences as well as social media releases.
Both the countries have followed completely different approach in this regard.

Announcements by one or lack of other during a conflict is of little value. This is because no one with even slightest common sense would tell the exact details of ongoing operation.
Information or misinformation is part of the game and there is nothing wrong with it. Infact in these times of social media it has as much power as many weapon systems.

DG ISPR making tall claims or India not accepting any losses is part of that process. There isn’t anything wretched or dishonourable about both these approaches.

Let the smoke continue and the other side guessing about the reality.

Most likely the Indians were shot down in the following scenario:
1. After the cruise missile strikes PAF sent up aggressive CAPs
2. IAF pilots, also on CAPs came in proximity of the PAF fighters.
3. Due to effective jamming, long range of AAMs, powerful radars, AWACs and netcentric warfare, the PAF J-10s had the upper hand.
4. The J-10s didn't have their radars on, they simply launched from high kinetics, while the AAMs were guided by networked radars from other platforms.
5. In the last minute, the already jammed IAF Rafales suddenly got a missile warning, too little to do much other than eject, and one of them couldn't even do that.
6. End result, India will be buying more Martin-Baker ejection seats soon.
I'm expecting the Pakistani response early Monday morning. I believe this will be on military targets, but also on Modi's home state, just to rub it in. I'd have preferred an attack further south on Mumbai, but that may be too far up the escalation ladder for Pakistan.

They are not. Most distributed pics are that of dropped fuel tanks. Nevermind half of them being just fake. There is zero evidence of any plane going down there. This is why I won't believe the "pictures" from social media. I prefer reliable sources.

Why not add the words "don't spend much time" in front of your avatar name to give your audience a more realistic representation of yourself?

Dear Indians,

Please use your brain , and try to verify and authenticate videos, post before posting them here or infact anywhere. Alot of Fake Pakistani stuff as well , but we mark it as fake. You guys are literally falling for superimposed videos, old f-16 image crashes , Iron dome vidoes , heck there is even a AI video of DGISPR admited falling aircraft which literally a 6 year old can see is fake.

Right now , if India media or social media posted a fake video of angelic biengs come down and hurling astroids on Lahore, you would not only buy it , you would post it.

My head is effing spinning because I checked out StrategicFront and according to them 4 F-16's shot down and an AWACS + JF-17's. The delusion over there is astonishing.

After the shitty performance of india airforce, it seems that the india now resort to sucicide UAV and missiles to attack.

Since Pakistan dont have sufficient attackers/bombers, so even if you gain the air-superiority, it is only for defence, you lack the hammer to finish your enemy off once you gain air-superiority.Which leave rooms for india to throw waves of low cost UAVs to blooding you and turn the game into a mud fight.

In short term you needs lots of low cost UAV/loitering munitions to get even, and but in the long run you needs invest into some heavy attackers/bombers/heavy air-strike munitions to take advantage of air-superiority.
