Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Best summary so far, the usual suspects Zephyrus, IntelConsortium etc, each have done a similar summary but have made atleast one mistake in identifying. Details regarding the 5th claim is the first I saw. I assumed the Pl-15 wreck was found near Akalia kalan (aka Bathinda) crash site of Rafale, but if it is indeed true, Pl-15 pieces were found in Hoshiarpur, that could be mamoth 150 km shot from the vacinity of the Sialkot-Gujranwala-Lahore axis (I dont think PAF would expose a lose line by flying in the ShakarGarh bulge).

In the same context - France are probably feeling deflated and desperately saddened by their birds. The Indians have let them down

The fact that it was 3 Rafales that were shot down is an eye opener to both the French and the world at large, esp the west. A single Rafale could have been 'chalked' down to the randomness of ‘combat luck', but 3 suggests that the Rafale is a flawed platform with significant weaknesses in the fabled 'Spectra' system.

We don't know if any Meteors were fired off and were defeated/or missed. That part of the puzzle is very important to know and also missing for an air combat session that lasted for 1 hr between 125 fighter jets.. Did PAF fighters successfully defeat the Meteor missiles ? It maybe they were never in the launch windows of the meteors.

It is also an eye opener on the quality of Chinese platforms. If the J10CE can take on a Rafale and win, then what does China have instore with the J20, J35, J50, J36 and also the likes of J15/16s ...

A lot of lessons for a lot of people to learn. Professionals will look over this for years to come to see what they can learn about modern aerial conflict between two peer adversaries. The Ukraine war is nothing compared to the intensity of this one combat mission alone.

Also now that PAF has exposed this level of capability, they will have to go back to the drawing board to move the 'dial' even further to the right to maintain that competitive edge, while India tries to play catchup.

PS - Kaiser Tufail is normally active for events like this, has he said anything that anyone has seen ?

The goal was to destroy targets without crossing border. That was successfully completed. Secondly a few hundred millions are not a big amount for the govt. Loss of pilot if any will be a major setback though.
Yes rafael is made in tejas factory at one per day. Pilots are more important 😂.
The way you guys are flying these planes let them fly without pilots that will be a better long-term investment.
🤣
And secondly if it's not a big thing why only your country isn't expecting that jets were lost 😂.
The audacity of some Indians baffles me

Well like I said round one Pakistan let’s see what happens.
FYI not a hater on India don’t necessarily agree with their cozy relationship with the likes of bibi but nothing against India as a whole just stating if we are keeping score looks like India got it worse militarily than Pakistan did and Pakistan suffered civilian casualties from poor intelligence

I think Pakistan is doing the right thing, staying cool and collected, not responding to the Indian baiting tactics and provocations, as this only infuriates the Indians more and makes them look foolish and make mistakes. Pakistan will respond, but on its terms, not the Indians. It's like when you get angry and lash out irrationally, it never ends well and you regret it. Acting in a rational manner with clear thinking and objectives is far more effective.
