I find you fairly balanced and well informed. I have a broader question to ask you. Rather I would ask you to comment on my perception which might be completely wrong:
I believe the dispute between Pakistan and India isn't about territory (Kashmir) or Indus water sharing; even though Pakistanis may think these are the only issues. India's aspirational objectives and cultural definition are seriously challenged geographically by Pakistan and culturally by India's largest minority.
1. Geographically India is effectively cut off from its 1000 year old trade and economic links to Central Asia (north) and further west all the way to Gulf Arab states. Pakistan is a serious barrier denying India its traditional sphere of influence.
2. Culturally, ( based on the narrative in the media) India would like to transition to a homogeneous, mono-religious and mono-cultural nation based on the revival of a culture that is "3000 years old ". This would have been possible if India had controlled the territory that is Pakistan today and assimilated the population and transformed the culture the same way it has successfully ( or mostly successfully) assimilated its minority population. The existence of Pakistan gives an impetus to India's minority to retain its religious identity and resist integration.
A defeat and de-population of Pakistan will therefore help India redefine itself and make the transition so much easier
You are right (partially), I would come to your points later but first let's talk about why we are here in the first place. The main point here is the RSS (1925) on your side, it is based on a fascist ideology of Hindu Nation / Culture Nationalism, to make hindu culture the most dominant in the subcontinent and of course that is a problem for us, we as muslims can't perform our obligations being muslims under a fascist hindu ruler, they would have never allowed that. So Iqbal, Jinnah and other Pakistani leaders saw this RSS ideology and of course started 1930. See the dates, what led to what?
Coming to Kashmir, Pakistan came to help for Muslim population there, India came to help for Hindu Ruler. Stuff happened and fire ceased. UN comes, gives a proposal both accept and war ends. Pakistan pushes for implementation of the charter because they know majority Muslim population will give them the edge, India backs down because of the same reason. If India had let it be, they would have lost Kashmir too after losing the land for Pakistan and since they know Kashmir is like a throat to Pakistan that they can squeeze (IWT) and Pakistan screams so they can't let it go that easily. Ultimately, RSS would want both Pakistan and Kashmir back into india.
Then coming to your points,
1. Yes, of course you would want to and we have offered several times and every time when we have offered you peace, there something happens in your country by your politicians that is blamed on Pakistan because the RSS in your country cannot let Pakistan be, since we trampled on their hearts of one big Hindu ruled indian nation and they want it back however that can be, since by accepting our offers and using trade routes that go through Pakistan, RSS is accepting Pakistan but how can that be right?
2. YES
