Seems like it was big concentration of fighter jets on India side
The large concentration of planes triggered the response from PAF

i dont think so, assumption is not random (IID), it is joint and fails (Asymmterically!) because of location of the aggressors!

Question is - 14 Rafales mean there were likely some on top cover.

I, frankly, never had any good experience with afghani and sri lankans. I am sorry, just my opinion.

Sri Lankans are mixed.. like Nepalese.. some are neutral and others staunch Indian supporters. very few are pro pakistani.
however,
afghans... most are opportunistic. old/retired afghans are still pro pak or neutral but all teenagers and grown ups are just pro india and anti pakistan.
I have been saying since ages now.. biggest enemy of Pakistan. more than most Indians.

Well this looks like it's going to escalate now. We have heard no news of anything coming out of Saudi FMs meetings in the capital today.

DGISPR also clarified that there is no direct communication between the two countries NSAs.

India postponing IPL, shutting down airports and claiming "phantom defense " as the DGISPR stated means that they only want escalation. Which means there is no other option for Pakistan on the table other than responding desecively and establishing deterrence.

You can try asking Maxstar or whatever that does so but both India and Pakistan are able to track satellites and take measures accordingly.
