Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

My assessment is that we are actually replying with drones/missiles and letting their air defense system soak it up.

This is probably our idea to show strength without causing actual damage. Thoughts?

See my post. I think Pakistan is lugging over some standard rockets that they think will most likely get intercepted. Just keeping them engaged/awake but also not actually causing any damage.
 
In past , when India has Congress Government and a much more balanced government

I remember any "incident" used to be discussed in special gathering between two nations, where diplomats met and exchanged knowledge and shared to cooperate on finding realities and investigating claims

And there was always meeting held in Pakistan or in India to resolve matters in Diplomatic mission

This mechanism is missing under the BJP government and media is playing Tabloid style sensationalized news . Every news outlet in India makes a claim of strike or event


The mechanism for joint investigation existed all the way from 1950's to 2000's

BJP have opted to move away from this form of joint investigation for quite some time, for any internal incident with out an investigation it is hard to lay claim some how Pakistan was involved

Without this formal exchanges , it is shocking how India can link any event to Pakistan (and this was explained by DGISPR). If Pakistan was involved they would admit it. However the DGISPR indicated we have no idea why India is making certain claims , we don't have any knowledge

Yes when people push that narrative I personally feel it is Punjabi-centric. And I wouldn’t be surprised if it unfortunately alienates Pakistani Muslim brothers and sisters from Pashtun and other ethnicities to at least a small degree.

True and even then, we all in Pakistan have different heroes to them. We see mughals as our pride, they see them as invaders. We eat cows. They worship it.
