A bit oversimplified. It's not racism but a need to suppress specific interests on behalf of specific parties.

They care far far LESS about Pakistan than about Gaza. Some Brits are quite sympathetic to Gaza's plight, even at the BBC (Jeremy Bowen for example) and the Indians on editorial boards in UK don't try too hard to suppress Palestinian narratives.

Those same Indians though have no tolerance at all for Pakistan.
