Sooo just somethings from the events of today:

1. PAF & IAF seemingly did not loose any jets. This seems to indicate some credibility in the earlier claims by the Pakistani side, that the IAF "Larako Veyman" aren't coming close to ranges that they suspect can be engaged with the J-10/PL-15 & Blk-3/PL-15 combos. The concept of the "invincible" Rafales & SU-30MKI's is gone!

2. PAF air assets/ and PA land based assets landing and giving significant damage inside IOK as well as India, indicates that India's BM shield/ ADS is unable to intercept Pakistani strikes, all that with the strike on the S-400 of all things indicates that India's prized possession is down the drain, at least the psychological safety net/ the image of safety it once had is gone and dusted.

So far, Pakistan has downed 3 rafales, 1 SU-30MKI, has damaged the S-400, has taken out a Brahmos missile site -- just on the morale side things with respect to the Indian civilians, Pakistan has been doing some MAJOR DAMAGE. These were the toys they used to wave in front of our faces for years harping them as invincible and they woke up to a shocking reality check today!

We may have a window of opportunity to deescalate provided Modi and his madmen pay heed.

True, will give PAF free reign to fly over Pakistan again. I suspect, now that it is weapons free, PAF will be flying lower and lower as it approaches the IB in north Punjab and lower AJK due this threat from Adampur.

It will be significant if it really is finished. Before today I would have told you an S-400 mission on Indians multi-layer AD, would involve an initial drone strike timed to arrive with Fatah barrages, and then followed by ARMs delivered from jets. If a lone Jf-17 has done the job, it will be wow.

We are talking about hypersonic missile. Interception of such weapon system is very difficult due to its very high speed and agility. Furthermore it's guidance system uses satellite feedback and active radar homing. It can target any installation 250 km away from it's launching air platform.

I'm not doubting CM400...
...I'm saying that per the story of one JF17(which can carry two CM400)...
...lobbed at a far range(even if at high high)
...against S400 which in itself has multiple different missiles for various ranges... essentially its own layered defense. In addition India has other air defense systems. How likely do u think two CM400s would make it all the way to target? Speed is a good advantage but they probably would have been detected at launch even if PAF launched from within Pakistani airspace.

There is a reason why SEAD/DEAD concepts exist.
If by chance...that lone JF17 story is true...well then color me surprised bcuz that would mean India made a very poor use of S400.
