CM400 has a ballistic trajectory, brahmos is a more traditional CM with mach 3 terminal velocity, it's hard to shoot down because of speed and low altitude. Need a similar one.

Most ceasefires have been claimed to be accepted due to other side at the brink of loosing. The same seems in this case too.
Everyone is claiming that Delhi ran to US etc etc. Same is being claimed this side.

Most likely it was accepted due to both sides seeing that they have achieved partial aims and any further escalation could go out of hand. And this is done by sane heads on both the sides.
