Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Till operational orders are passed, the troops would continue to do their job.
They don’t depend on TV news to take decisions and stop. In fact at local level some troops might increase the attacks as orders haven’t come officially and being trigger happy is more macho.

There could be local violations for some time. All major action of missiles and aircraft etc is likely to stop.

People don't understand but this is normal. At times on LOC troops fire for no reason from each side and at times they can easily kill each other but choose not to, they all have their reasons. Ofcourse full blown war is different situation. Slowly this firing will stop.

India is incensed that the US brokered the peace talks and it all became public and everyone tweeted.

Their long standing position of being a big player who can't be dictated got broken.

twist: Modi cancels trade deal with US and enters with chyyyna

It has been considered - imagine the difficulty in India to sell a ceasefire if their “daughter” is with Pakistan

Vicious cycle

The more the war prolongs the more Indian air assets might get shot down (not arrogant just balance of probability) therefore the greater the need for retribution from India

Indians will be paranoid about a future press conference if more aircraft losses

Effectively Pakistan has to project itself as a loser to build India an off ramp

But then stop using your air force 🙃

The only other option is prolong the conflict with this rate of attrtion on the Indian side that they have to give in risking ofcourse their navy attacking

The USA actually needs to reign India in but India knows that's unlikely

The only reason they have a place in the world is their huge population which would work for pennies. Pests really

Bhartoids trying to salvage any remaining ego in the cover of ceasefire.

Pakistan Army must respond with ferocity. We should not even allow optic win for India. This should be seen as what it is… full and utter humiliation of the laagar baagar armed forces.

Are bhai what do you want

Nuclear bombs in Mumbai?????

We cucked the Indian air force

We hit multiple Indian bases
We roasted indians and their posts on the front line

If your only regret is that we didn't butcher Indian civilians in their cities because they are Hindus (remember I hate Hindus) then that was a choice made by the military

It wasn't because it COULDN'T be done, firing missiles at Indian cities is no great feat, it's easy, but they chose not to

Take the win, rather then the usual asim asim nonsense

Brother I want peace, but I want it not at the price of our safety and dignity.

I also don't want people to whitewash the crimes of Asim Munir and the military junta because for 4 days he actually did the job he was paid to do rather than terrorising how own people.

I don't want to see dead humans - regardless of race, religion or ethnicity. What I feared was that a limited response was not adequate to quash the political appetite of the enemy to engage in such folly again.

Regretfully my assement was proven correct. I wish I was wrong. I've been wrong plenty in my life, being wrong one more time would have not been a problem.

It is my humble opinion that these attacks occur to score political points - to make Modi look like a tough guy. That's the primary objective. Now to prevent them - we must take away his political capital from such events.

The approach taken by the. Military was the correct one - but it won't take away political capital, the misinformation machine will cope.

Now - had drones swarmed Indian cities and explosions rocked thier homes and places of work - civic centres, RSS HQ, home addresses of known extremists - that would have created the kind of fear that would be remembered by a generation. Suddenly war would no longer be on thier TV screens and social media feeds.

I think that is unfortunately what it will take to strip the political capital from these attacks. This is the third one we've faced in a decade.

The risk is we enter a deeper conflict where the "off ramp" is much further away. We know in our current state we cannot sustain a long conflict - but we should remember - neither could Ukraine.

Pakistan needed this escalation. It came like medicine for Pakistan.

1.- Pakistan Airforce made a great show by introducing the J-10 as a Rafale-killer to the international weapon producers.

2.- Pakistan won the media war by their press conference humiliating India.

3.- Pakistan internal problems perished and the country get united.

4.- Pakistan’s allies introduced theirselves on the international arena: Turkey, China, Azerbaijan.

5.- The world knows again that you cant mess with Pakistan - the only nuclaer muslim nation.

Are you of Pakistan origin, you seem to have a great grasp of internal Pakistan stuff. It would (wonderfully) surprising to know if actual Turkish people are following development so closely.
