Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

If female pilot, POW, is true, and Pak under USA-India diplomacy hasnt made it public, background negotiations might be going on that Pakistan return her without going public.
That my take!

I dont believe it's true. After suffering losses IAF stayed away from the border region so less likely their pilot will end up in Pakistan. On twitter people are using old video for ratings.

1. Pakistanis need to forget about the rumored pilot, whether if she is here/wasn't captured, captured but returned -- at this point is irrelevant considering we are facing a fresh round of attacks by the enemy. The focus should be on that!

2. While the enemy regrouped knowing that it would break the cease fire, we did not get that opportunity, this is conflict -- its not meant to be fair. Hence, we've got to be on our toes -- from this point, this is round 2. We've got to forget about the initial thrashing we've administered and focus on the task at hand.

3. The reason that India is backing from this ceasefire, is that they've nothing concrete. The only semblance of face saving they have is the last strike they conducted on our airbases. Aside from that, PAF has dominated the IAF 5:0, PA has intercepted most of India's drones and Pakistan has conducted strikes in to India as well. Not to mention, the wild claims the Indian media has made that has somehow turned the sane part of the Indian janta against them (them = the media).

4. The details of the cease fire have not been revealed, but going by what we know, Pakistan has not gained on the strategic level. Our victories are mostly on the tactical level. We haven't been able to do anything about the IWT, or the article 370. So while opening fire opens up the gate of suffering for both populations across the LOC and the international border, it also gives PA/PAF the opportunity to conduct another thrashing upping the ante because as demonstrated, the only time that India was willing to sit on the table was after a full fledged thrashing by Pakistan. Clearly, that wasn't enough for a lasting impression.

I guess our doctrine is offensive defense, however, what was alarming was that India had blanketed our cities with loitering munitions and drones and had completely overwhelmed our AD.

Pakistan quickly needs an anti-swarm tool in its repository.

Also one question no one seems to be asking is what equipment was damaged in the attack which led to the shahadat of Squadron Leader...he was in a hangar after all.

I think what Pakistan needs to do is able to have the same capability of offense. The ability to blanket Delhi and Mumbai with loitering munitions. India only knocked this all off when Pakistan finally got onto the offensive. Prior to that, they would have been happy to wear down Pakistan defensive capabilities for as long as it took.

Lets not forget that lesson !!!

So pre condition of ceasefire is to not brag about rafales airjeets kills and POW lady. OK Modi. But truth will come out anyway
It was also happened in 2019....dgispr himself said two pilots were captured....but ......

And we did the same to them.
Expect drones, a lot of them, in any future conflagration. Kinetic measures leveraging automation (i.e. radars etc.) run the risk of giving away the integrated air defense plot. That is the whole intent of using these drones i.e., to instigate radar activation.

This is a tough problem to solve, but it is the same for both sides.
I haven't seen any videos from India equivalent to what we saw from our side with several drones visible to civilians.

I'm wondering if more effective jamming is the way to go. If we can disable comms of advanced jets, disabling links of drones should be possible too.

Where is ISPR since our retaliation began? They should be the ones raising the issue of ceasefire violation by Indians.

there’s no damn pilot can mods delete these posts? Stop believing “saad” on twitter
It’s not just saad. It’s the video, The details. How and why would a name start flowing around on Social media and if it were false, India would’ve already debunked it by capturing a realtime video of the Lady pilot.

Actually It's Indian Gender Bias towards her, They don't want to give her Vir Chakra. ;)
Gender Bias? That's why she was probably sent on a mission to Pakistan.

No male pilot probably wanted to lose his life or get humiliated if captured alive.
