It's important to impartially assess weaknesses and factually document losses on our side so that they can be rectified for the future (inevitable) conflicts.

Having said that, India would not have gone to the US to push Pak for a ceasefire had they achieved the upper hand. The fact that they sued for peace means Pakistan had hit them unexpectedly harder

Of course its war and weapons will go through on both sides dealing damage in men and material, that is NOT what is being criticised.

What's being criticised is lethargy and dithered decision making in the face of existential threats.

Have a window of opportunity to shoot down more jets? Naah, just lets do basic /2. (I'll give PAF the benefit of the doubt here that not all locks satisfy firing with significant pK parameters).

Have a window of opportunity to deal significant damage? Lets do the bare minimum and use 1/10 of available weapons.

Have a window of opportunity to destroy India in social/diplomatic discourse? Have the most khassi khotays ever existed argue with professional reporters and career diplomats, with almost no social media push towards countering propaganda by India.

Sun Tzu said appear weak when strong. Maybe there's an angle here and a play that not everybody is privy to or have the foresight to dissect and debate.

Or maybe we don't have a plan and are stuck in analysis paralysis or have other factors influencing decision making at the highest echelons, personal factors that have them not take action when it is required the most.

Dear all,

I have seen threads coming up about air defence etc. What we need is a dedicated thread. Topics I think need to be touched on are stocks of standoff missiles, air defence, the hurrying of Pakistani navy surface vessels etc.
I'll merge another thread later on regarding air defence.

This is it, think they launched there volley as ceasefire was being agreed. However, I am being patient regarding what damage we did to them.

Still remember people here clambering for a response to the initial attack and getting disheartened, we have. short memories.

Lets give ISPR the time. If we did any major damage from our missiles they will present evidence. My feeling is we are waiting for them to blurt out everything then we will response.

For example a few hours ago Wing Commander Token Woman or whatever her name is stated Nur Khan was destroyed. We now know that is a complete lie

That could be one area to study.

After the C400 attack on S400, as part of next round, JF17 with Ra’ad pictures were doing the rounds, preferably domestic production.

However, I would think hypersonic missiles are a better option and this is where Pakistan should start focusing on.

You are absolutely right, at times, the truest loyalty lies in the courage to critique one’s own. Pointing out flaws isn’t betrayal; it’s a commitment to betterment. ..

Having said that, let’s be clear.... getting overly emotional and publicly bashing your own Forces (especially during wartime) isn’t just unhelpful, it’s reckless. This isn’t the time for performative outrage. Take a breath. Zoom out. Look at the bigger picture.

Everyone in Pakistan, even the schoolkids, knows one hard truth... the only thing holding India back from rolling in tanks and destroying Pak isn’t our conventional strength... it’s our nukes. Full stop. India’s economy is nearly 10 times bigger and its defense spending matches that scale. In that equation, our nuclear deterrent is the great equalizer. Everything else—jets, troops, tactics—is a bonus.

By all means, hold institutions accountable. But know when to speak, how to speak, and where to draw the line... And let’s hold off on the rushed conclusions—ISPR hasn’t even shown its hand yet.



And I haven’t even touched on this: if India had truly overwhelmed our air defences (as you say), what made them pull back and agree to a ceasefire?

Simple. Deterrence.

It did exactly what it was designed to do—make the other side think twice.
