Forget living in dreams and fools paradise!
India is going to strike back within next two years or so. They will wait to obtain a 5th gen platform as a stop gap measure for their air force deficiencies and to counter J35. Expect them to go on for shopping immediately. This time they will not try to use IAF as their main player, they will not rely on them as IAF has humiliated them twice now and Pak strength is PAF. They will push Pakistan into a prolonged conventional war backed by Israel and USA, they will use numbers to their advantage. Expect drone swarms, chaos and psyops. They will try to tire out Pakistani forces and take advantage of our deficiencies/ their strengths. They already have the public support for this. Pakistan has made a mockery of itself after overthrowing IK and behaving recklessly on the political and foreign policy domain. India has been consistently pushing their propaganda against Pakistani state, with no counter from the Pakistani side. They will try to ensure next strike gets them a decisive victory and major victory.

It is clear that Pakistan completely focussed on PAF as its strategic edge while compromising on conventional strength. We have to acquire more J35s, more air defence systems and send army back to barracks to train & develop strategies. PAF has been the saving grace for Pakistan, but next time India would limit air force's role all together. Pakistan is well prepared for skirmishes and limited conflict. India would test out with a full scale, multi front war with UAVs in supporting role.

We also need a hypersonic missile of our own. Although, not necessary and not a priority, its surely good to have.

All of what you said only applies when a country is unable to hit back. Pakistan can effectively destroy most of India via conventional means. The issue is that the Indians have been living in a Bollywood movie and they are stuck in a time loop in 1971.

Modern warfare is very different. Yes, economy is extremely important, but it is also a fact that the Indians have been fudging their economic/financial stats for years and years and a war will unmask their true situation.

One reason that Indians believe in it though, is that it has enough truth in it. India has seen dramatic economic growth in last 25 years, while Pakistan economy is in the doldrums. India has enjoyed only positive news in international media, while Pakistan is negative thanks to idiotic and self-destructive foreign policy in Afghanistan and foolish domestic political engineering. You combine these truths with the forces you speak of, and you will eventually arrive at the Indian expectation when it attacked Pakistan, that the country will either crumble or at most react by lobbing a few shells over LoC and then shut up.

My point is that Russia DID run out of food during the 1990s. They also had no money but NATO never dared invade or bomb them or encourage the breakaway Eastern Bloc countries to invade because Russia was still heavily armed and could inflict massive amounts of pain.
