One of my acquaintances, a very credible person who has spent a long time in the Airforce's upper ranks, has indirectly given me the answer to this question of female pilot, as follows, without confirming or negating the issue :

Based on the respect that our country, religion and our culture gives to females, even if we had captured a female pilot, we would not have disrespected any female by presenting her to the media and our training dictates that we would respectfully return her to her family at the earliest, maintaining utmost privacy for her.

I think as a matter of training, this pretty much explains this issue, regardless of whether any such pilot was captured or not. I'll suggest we show the same respect and lets not say things that would be against our culture and religion, as well.
