Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Another inference is that Pakistan does not need the Americans/West for weapons supplies, so that lever of control and pressure is also over. And if they want to retain influence in Pakistan, they need to build a better economic relationship that gives them back some levers..

Pakistan have to upgrade our F-16 to Turkish of Block 70. China is main source for defence systems. We should will be always be to American, European and Turkish weapons.

Haseeb Paracha, Jawad Saeed, Ahsan Rafiq and some others faced the consequences of same thing which caused the closure of defence.pk
An extremely sad and irrecoverable situation for PAF.

But that is what happens during ego clashes - read flight of the falcon and accounts of AM Zafar Chaudhry’s time and even some in ACm shamim.

I understand why PAF is not forthcoming in crediting/disclosing J-10 pilots who shot down the Rafaels and other planes. Something tells me, It wasnt just pilot guiding the PL-15, SAAB was involved in guiding the PL-15. Credit will be jointly shared. . PAF doesnt want to disclose the capability that AEWC can guide BVR missiles hence not crediting/disclosing pilot identities right now.

Isn't JC10 on par with F16V? Someone can correct my limited knowledge. God bless.
It pretty much in the air superiority role - but the V has a little more up its sleeve as a strike fighter.

There are still advantages of Pakistan upgrading its fleet or perhaps even getting some new builds.

Both the US and Pakistan as well see the F-16 also as a relationship avenue in both good and bad ways.

Problem is not the weapons, Pakistan's exports to the US account for approx. 20%. Any dent in that, followed by American hamnawa countries in Europe and elsewhere would cripple us.

A country survives military losses, but seldom survives economic losses.

It's a long way for Pakistan. The first thing is raising the education standard which is not even at par with Sri Lankans now. Unless that is achieved, any military victories will be short lived.

I think at this point its actually for both the PAF and even those that may have heard it to adopt

That being said -

IF this capability exists - there would be a lot of sour faces from visiting friends here who claimed it would be impossible for the PAF to achieve and even saying the Erieye would not do it and a Chinese AEW would be needed at the least.

Words that touch my heart. Yes 100% we need to uplift our youth, education is the key, education generates a skilled workforce which generates avenues for economic growth.
