What happened is the founders of the new country were quickly killed/died and the governance/leadership vacuum was filled by the trained colonial elite the British had left behind. So the new nation of Pakistan was re-colonized by "brown sahabs" (brown masters) in place of the "gora sahabs" (White masters). These people have been (mis)ruling Pakistan ever since.

One thing to learn from this conflict is that Pak will have to suffer a lot if we don't employ good air defence system where India can cause huge destruction from his missiles i.e., Brahmos from its territory without even using its air force.

Going by Trump's latest speech. This conflict is over.

Very interesting to see the US did not clearly favour India. Their dream of being a regional hegemon is dead.

Trump made sure he spoke before Modi.

Combined that with the grounding of IAF and a few hits on their western command. No wonder Pakistan gave a victory speech.

India should behave like a civilized country now and own up to their dead pilots and honor them. No point hiding them like a dirty secret.
