I just read that NY Times article and the overwhelmingly pro Indian 'Recommended' Comments to that article. I often retort and this time too I wanted to retort by own Comment but would be too late and perhaps futile because Pakistan stopped seeking the 'affirmation' from the West decades ago; it is India which does that.

Anyway, suffice to say, if India was gaining the upper hand through the two clashes (May 7 and May 10) then India would have never agreed to a ceasefire. Everyone knows that Pakistan is not 'deterred' at all against India--on the contrary. But maybe let the Indians keep seeking their coping mechanism through the Western channels and keep themselves deluded. Pakistan just has to keep its vigil even more against this Cornered Jackal!

At the risk of showing my age, for over 20 years I've been reading constant diatribe by Indian posters about their Su-30MKI and tejus, non stop online diarrhea about how amazing they are, and that the PAF is doomed, about India having air superiority etc. I remember endless arguments on the air forces monthly forum. All that bullshit, gone up in fire in a single night.

On a side note, it seems the US and Indians were definitely spooked by something. At first the Americans were happy for us to fight it out, but then something happened for them to immediately intervene and force the Indians into a ceasefire. The change in tone by sashi tharoor is quite astonishing, so they must have been spooked by something.

Similarly for me,

Anyone remember Storm Force? Some gems from those days:

- SU30 MKI is SUPPOSED to have a large radar signature so as to intimidate the enemy. The PAF will run away once they realise just how big it is.

- S400s will impose a no-fly zone across ENTIRE Pakistan at a moments notice.

My two favourite gems from 15-20 years ago.

Meanwhile - After an entire week of “peace”

Guess who has power restored and back to work “This is a important message from the Indian Consulate…” :ROFLMAO:

I am still getting calls about extended Warranty on my Lexus nx200t which got flooded and totaled more than half year ago, during Helene.

Brahmos is major escalation..we didnt escalate to blastic missiles like we should have in response to brahmos
Also this fake sense of security in india beyond 100 miles need to be addressed
Pakistan should have targeted deep like india did (Peshawar
Also need to figure out air defense

People here disagreed with me when I said shortly after the ceasefire that Pakistan too wanted a ceasefire but India really needed that after what happened in the early hours of May 10: I think Pakistan, having brought down the Indian fighter jets and having killed several Indian soldiers on the LoC, decided to oblige the then visiting Saudi diplomat and agreed to not escalate.
The Saudi diplomat left late May 9 or early May 10 and the conflict started. I am unclear if the missile exchanges on May 10 was initiated by Pakistan as a response to May 7 or was it in response to the Indian attacks on May 10? Whoever initiated that will be found out but I think Pakistan, after seeing the Indian response on May 10, had started to mobilize missiles to target India in much broader way and that's where the brakes were put on as India agreed to ceasefire which India itself had been refusing, though verbally asking for it.
Well, that's my own understanding of what happened on May 10. Maybe I am wrong.

Now the French state media lying too?

We still haven't, at least our ruling classes haven't realised that we are living in a "Whole of Nation" approach time period. Military, economic, cultural and all other spheres in life at a national or international level are driven by the nation as a whole.

Stability and freedom of expression are the two most important aspect of that Whole of Nation framework. Pakistan always seems to be in permanent instability, which not only inhibits our whole of nation potential, but actively has a negative effect. Whereas others have benefited fully from that same approach.

The present period is not about this incident or that. It's about what was there before the incident and what comes after. Everything effects everything else, it can't be more simpler then that.
Until and unless we change and adopt, we may win battles or even wars, but we shall always be on the back foot.

Speaking of showing age, I remember Saber jets in the 1971 war against India; we kids used to admire the pics of them with the spear (or whatever that thingy is) sticking out from its nose. So to those above wondering about 'age' talking about SU MKI.. hold my Chai!
PS. Okay, I could have Googled Saber jets pic but just working off very old memory so I could be wrong about the name of the fighter jet and/or the spear.

Do checkout Kitboga on Youtube. The guy is giving them hell haha.

There’s a whole science of scam baiting.

Checkout this reddit post and also this sub (starting from top posts of all time).

This specific post is a very creative one. The OP received a message he knew was from scammers.

He wanted to identify the nationality of the scammer.

Scammers are mostly:

- Indians
- Nigerians
- Chinese

He introduced himself as ‘Terry’ which is gonna be used to form a sentence later on.

The scammer asks for full name, He replies: “Terry Alaye Malachut”

Terry = Teri
Alaye = Nigerian codeword that scammers use to identify among themselves.
Malachut = Rhymes with the hindi slur

The scammers doesn’t get notice what’s going on since he isn’t from either of those countries. He puts his bet on the idea that the scammer is a chinese especially since he shared a chinese model pic

He drags the convo and then bombs in the Chinese copy pasta which includes keywords that are prohibited in chinese firewall and flags users in front of LEAs. The scammer gets pissed off due to it.

😂😂😂

?

If anything Pakistan may be getting upgrades to the F16s we have as part of DTs diplomacy. Whatever happens it's too early to say.

Ukraine got a batch of F16 from the Nethetlands, the US has sent spared and non operational F16s to Ukraine.

Pakistan is in combat with a much larger foe, it would make absolutely no sense in Pakistan to diminish her fleet of fighters at such a time..

Besides if all goes well, the umbrella provided to Ukraine under the US will eventually lead to no further need for advanced weapons.

I feel this debate is going off topic, back to Pakistan and India.

I think people forget that Pakistan have enemies on the Western border as well. F-16s play a vital role along that border.

At that time I mentioned that ASELSAN KORAL would jam the S-400 radars to oblivion for it was tested over Syria with the Russian S-400 systems....

Looks like the PDF can predict the Bharati failures much earlier!
