Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

In the proud tradition of Group Captain Cecil Chaudhry, of the 1965 and 1971 wars, the Pilot that took out the S-400 was Kamran Masih.

P.S. I nominate Squadron leader Kamran Masih for the Sitara-e-Jurat.

Information on Group Captain Cecil Chaudhry’s mission:

Erm, while he is a hero in his own way, this guy is not a fighter pilot, he is a tech. This news was started as a joke by one of his colleagues and caught on.
PAF is trying to ensure that identities of the pilots involved are not revealed for operational and personal security.

Irfan siddique (N league) says J10 kay nuts and bolts tight kar kay Nawaz sharif ny bheja tha.....

I am sorry to say...we have most jahil politicians in entire world....
@Areesh if only Indian bombing could have killed our jaahil hated corrupt politicians instead of innocent civilians...
...it would've given Pakistan all the reason to strike India...while also ridding Pakistan of the idiots everyone is tired of.

Wow, well we are still in the fog of war and we do live in a new world where safety measures unfortunately have to be stepped up. It maybe years before we ever fully know what really happened, and who actually did it.

All these airmen are heroes just the same.

Similarly for me,

Anyone remember Storm Force? Some gems from those days:

- SU30 MKI is SUPPOSED to have a large radar signature so as to intimidate the enemy. The PAF will run away once they realise just how big it is.

- S400s will impose a no-fly zone across ENTIRE Pakistan at a moments notice.

My two favourite gems from 15-20 years ago.
There was another dude...randomradio or something.. according to him a nuclear exchange between India and Pakistan would only destroy Pakistan and India would survive bcuz it is large. He was scoffing at studies based on experimental models simulated by supercomputers.

There's no end to delusions I've witnessed from the other side.

This is why we have to aim for “MAD”, Indians have to have a perception that they will face consequences for any war if the Pakistani public will face consequences. This should be the new requirement, IMHO, as minimum credible deterrence only worked when India moved towards a quicker conventional first strike strategy, which they may have tried to do with the attack on Nur Khan air base (a major node of the NCA) and possible the attack on the Kirana Hills.

Looking for "normal" from abnormal RSS Hindutva is itself abnormal.....

Because everyone knew the fate of their war machines in the hands of indians
Whether France will sell India any additional Rafale is now doubtful. Every major European aircraft manufacturer will be more hesitant to sell products to India if it means their reputation suffers.

Guys, this guy was Pakistaní pilot right ? and he was under Indian custody right?

Speaking of showing age, I remember Saber jets in the 1971 war against India; we kids used to admire the pics of them with the spear (or whatever that thingy is) sticking out from its nose. So to those above wondering about 'age' talking about SU MKI.. hold my Chai!
PS. Okay, I could have Googled Saber jets pic but just working off very old memory so I could be wrong about the name of the fighter jet and/or the spear.
Most probably F-104s and that would be pitot tube.
Sabres had the air intake in front.
