Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Wonder how accurate this is.

From a strictly technical perspective. Is it really that much down to the operator in this case? I cannot imagine India cannot buy any technology that we can. EW, AWACS, and so on.

What exactly is the technical challenge here for them that they get beat everytime in this domain?
Imagine, PN able to utilize Sea Spray & Sea Sultan fitted with COTS systems better than the billions worth P8 indians bought :D

That is pure nonsense. The guy is claiming that just by watching Western Jets flying near their border, China was able to copy them and then come up with better EW. China had NO EXPOSURE to Western Jets. So how would they come up with counter measures??

Here is the correct answer - Chinese exposure to Western Jets and techology came via Pakistan mainly, and via France to lesser extent. This is what allowed China to manufacture modern jets. This is what allowed China to get exposure to Western tactics, EW, etc.

Yes I agree that today China is class of its own but they is no fuking way the Chinese could got a start like this without HELP from someone like Pakistan, etc.

We could have had a viable Kashmir agreement had it not been for Advani.
Vajpayee/Musharaf had agreed to a joint agreement but Advani scuttled it at the last moment.
no, Mushy betrayed Atal.. left in a huff and got started on Kargil.

These Generals are all haramis

Why bother, when you can totally jam the opponents Radars, Data links, and Comms? spend the money wisely on invisible tech rather than trying to make a tangible object invisible.
Depends on the price. If a J-10 is $40 million and the J-35 is under $60 million, then it’s worth it. Above $80 million would probably make it harder for the PAF to commit over the J-10, considering that stealth isn’t the overwhelming variable per the recent engagements.

Their airforce with 36 Rafale and 200ish Su30mki possess even less threat to China compared with South Korean airforce.
SK F15/F16 are quite lethal. Pilots trained at US standards. Same with RoCAF Pilots.

Agra summit happened after Kargil and you can use ChatGPT

ChatGPT says...

The Agra Summit of July 2001, a high-stakes diplomatic meeting between Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, ultimately failed to produce a joint declaration. While various factors contributed to the collapse, the role of L.K. Advani, then India's Home Minister and a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has been a subject of considerable debate.(WIRED)

Allegations Against Advani

President Musharraf, in his memoir In the Line of Fire, accused Advani of scuttling the summit at the last moment. Advani, in his autobiography My Country My Life, acknowledged that from India's perspective, the drafting of the joint declaration was unsatisfactory. He noted that the draft brought by Foreign Minister Jaswant Singh was discussed in an informal meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security, indicating internal disagreements within the Indian leadership .(The Times of India, Wikipedia, beta.dawn.com)

Insights from Indian Officials

A.S. Dulat, former chief of India's Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW), asserted that Advani played a dual role in the Agra Summit—both facilitating and ultimately derailing it. Dulat mentioned that Advani had clandestinely met with Pakistan's High Commissioner Ashraf Jehangir Qazi multiple times before the summit, but the chemistry between Advani and Musharraf never developed positively .(Rediff)

Contrastingly, Gautam Bambawale, a former Indian diplomat, argued that the summit's failure was primarily due to Musharraf's insistence on prioritizing the Kashmir issue and his lack of commitment to addressing cross-border terrorism. Bambawale emphasized that the absence of adequate diplomatic groundwork and backchannel negotiations contributed significantly to the summit's collapse .(Wikipedia, www.ndtv.com)

Indian Air Force Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa said the "Su-30 radar is good enough and can pick it (J-20) up from many kilometers away," according to Indian news website Zee News.

"Many kilometers away", dude, it is even visible in "many kilometers away", what can I say if this is their air force chief marshal.
