Indians are some of the toughest people in the world............. When it comes to trying to convince them they may well be intellectually a bit wrong


In this case they would have to admit that their understanding of the world and approach to strategic thought has been flawed

Worse still, to try and suggest that they need to emulate something that the Chinese or Pakistanis have done maybe a psychological non-starter. I mean I think eventually they will have to get serious about reshaping their military, but will they get in the way of their own requirements?

At one point they had an arms embargo embargo and just like Pakistan they were grounded and parts salvaged.....Just like Pakistan they were not upgraded and too many restrictions....

Finally Indonesia decided to go for the Russians and eventually Europeans.....

My comment were not meant negatively for the Indonesian airforce but rather for Western machines that are over priced and prone to embargos.....
