A big potential problem for India is that any UNSC Resolution against India over Kashmir next time may not find one of the P-5 to Veto the Resolution. In past, there was the automatic Russian Veto and perhaps in future too Russia will oblige but not guaranteed like in the past. And so India will have to rely on the Western nations and they generally follow what America tells them for UNSC Resolutions and it is quite possible that America would extract some major price from India to Veto anti-India UNSC Resolution.
Pakistan, on the other hand, has the Chinese Veto almost guaranteed.
