Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Pretty compelling points by Pravin Sawhney.

I am quite interested in the 2 things he mentioned regarding the the stuff China is "giving" Pakistan.

1. Radars
2. EW Jets

Any(one) have clue as to what Mr. Sawhney is referring to...

Something we may have seen at the Zhuhai Airshow last year.

Look at this bad boy in terms of Radar...

And I believe he used the term "EW Jets". If memory serves, the only EW Jets China has are the J-15D, which basically are the EA-18G (the Growler of the PLAAF).

I think he is talking in generic terms of radars and EW, versus specific platforms. China has a lot of ground based EW equipment as well. Personally I don't see the J16D ever operating in the PAF as it will be too small a fleet to be commercially viable, and the focus on aerial EW will be HAVSOJ and potentially the ZDK-03s of which one has been upgraded.

Additionally the DA20's were upgraded recently, but the aerial platform itself is getting quite old, so it would be interesting to see if the PAF decides to rehouse that equipment in a new plane down the road or not.

PS - that anti-stealth platform looks kick-ass. Very different from the usual radars.

In fact, open hostility!
They have put it in black and white and sold their souls. They in fact egg on the belligerents. There is a long and drawn out preamble... and a wish list... and a goal.
Dont say that out loud sir, certain defenders of the Ummah Chumma brigade will appear in the thread to lecture you on what a bad Muslim you for stating the obvious. 😂

So are IL-78 Refuellers. We have what like 4 of them. Just the one Squadron (No. 10).

I don't see any reason why we can't broker a deal & get...say 6 of them to form 1 Squadron or 2 of them..., and spread them into Sind & Punjab Bases.

Been hearing about it (HAVSOJ) for way too long. Things are pretty hot right now.

What can be available to Pakistan in less than a year is what matters if things go south - pretty fast.

...and weren't we retiring the ZDK-03's  ?

Unsure if IL-78 is a good platform, reliability issues and very thirsty engines

When their first objective is self preservation and maintaining lifestyle. Everyone else is a mere conduit.. either paid or emotionally charged.... as long as it is suitable. One for the cause will stand in spite of money, distance or crutches... they'll volunteer... be at your cause at personal loss and rejoice as it was and is their own success when prevail.

These on the other hand should be avoided like a plague... assumed hostile!

The Arab leaders do not represent the Ummah....they are an open enemy to it's very concept. The concept of unity through faith.

These guys are only interested in the select few blood lines.

Starting to watch this Hassan Khan guy. He is my new Afghanistan expert though I still miss Rahimullah Yusufzai: May that wise Pathan rest in peace.
If what the Chinese engineered in Beijing between Pakistan and Afghanistan holds, then Pakistan's western border will be back to the peace during the Mullah Umar's 1996-2001 regime.

Every Worldwide Militaries are super impressed by Pakistan utilising advanced systems technology. My respect I was one of the people not fully sold on Chinese vs Rafale.

And on, Mr. Praven Sawhney of Force Magazine India he had been saying and prompting all these Pakistans and Chinese collaborations for years, but no one in India listened to him. Instead, label him anti India and Chinese agents lol.

Pakistan should absolutely leverage China's help to bring Afghanistan to some level of common sense. China does not want to see the same people on its borders that Pakistan faces. There is common interest. Iran and the others will have similar interests of stablishing Afghanistan, which also means keeping India away as they will do no good there.

It was fun watching an Indian channel today where the analyst said India until very recently was calling Afghan Taliban 'terrorists' and now no less than India's Foreign Minister Jaishankar said a few days ago do 'whatever it takes' to bolster ties with Afghanistan's regime. Hahaha!
We all know why the change of heart in India and in a way, I can't blame them: Afghanistan would be another opportunity to hit Pakistan with. But when the Indians took their rhetoric to so unnecessary anti-Taliban just shows you how stupid, short sighted, and arrogant India's foreign policy has been under Modi.
