The best answer to such thing is to say "ok", any simple short answer is the best reply.
Trying too hard seems like a waste of time. We can't change what people believe or think, it certainly doesn't mean we put ourselves in the same mindset as them.

We gave them a bloody nose. The Americans were part of this drama, and have realised few unsavoury things about what India can deliver..
But, India is still their puppy, that won't change. India is still a capable military, that hasn't changed. We need to stay clear headed.

I highly doubt it - it will take time to find a solution to the supremacy of the PAF currently, and until they do that, they wont do anything. Not even engage in a missile exchange as Pakistan has shown it is prepared to attack mainland India now with missiles aswell.

I will interject and say Pakistanis must first learn there are never any friends and only national interests. As much as you want, you can't discard the US or the West as they are your largest trading partners, not China or East Asia, and currently, the US and the West are the centers of global finance.

Unless the Pakistanis and regional players integrate their economies and, along with the Chinese, create an alternative block, it will be difficult for Pakistan to wean itself from the West. A time will come, sure, but you must work towards it, and the Chinese are in that process. I see weak Pakistani efforts to learn from the Chinese to better themselves.

Lastly, there is far less cultural and educational exchange between Pakistan and China than between Pakistan and the West. Until you have an equal exchange, it will be difficult.

The fate of mig29 pilot that was shot down in ramban doesn't seem very promising either

The PAF effectively established a no fly zone for the IAF about 200km inside india. The bar has been raised again since Feb 2019. Next time, OCA, SEAD, DEAD, missiles strikes etc will occur from day one. But given that the IAF has been proved to be ineffective again and again, they will find it difficult to achieve any of those objectives, if at all. The best the indians can do is Brahmos missile strikes en mass, where they were partially successful. Even then, the brahmos missiles will have to adopt INS instead of GPS given the GPS guidance was effectively jammed.

Current look at the neighborhood as of 1555 MST (my time zone). Red line (no pun intended) I established at the beginning still very obvious on the Indian side of the border. It's BAU and more so on the Pakistan side:




Interestingly, and I did not mention it before, the aircraft in the "zone" have been flying that narrow corridor since things quieted down a bit over there. Nothing to the north or south of that line. Intentional to me unless someone has better information.
