Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Wow ....Never in my life I had imagined the day when we are already getting fifth generation aircraft and we even have options like Turkish or Chinese un restricted machines and Indians are struggling to find anything to match us......

I remeber the days when we didnt even have BVR missiles and during Kargil our F16 fleet was not even fully surviceable.......

I don’t think anyone in India had a second opinion regarding Pakistan after what happened in Pahalgam. Anyone in the central government would have taken the same action as Mr. Narendra Modi did.

Well then everyone would have seen the same humiliation and suhaag raat.....No matter who attacked Pakistan we would teach them a lesson.

Anyone in the central government would have taken the same action as Mr.Narendra Modi did ..,with the same results or different results?

Note that this Rafale pilot had texted his wife he was going to 'teach the pak1s a lesson' - referring to his misssion to kill Pakistani children

Those were the coward's last words before being turned into fresh mince-meat by the fragments of a PL-15. Like Mata, like son...
This seems to be the section of cockpit instruments panel.
It's a video, and I am posting a screenshot.
There are holes , which may be any kind of damage, including the possibility of shrapnel from proximity sensor triggered missile explosion.

This pilot didn't eject, and if what I am seeing is what it is, the guy was killed in the cockpit by PL 15

You would be surprised - the issue isnt getting them F-35s - it's them agreeing to other aspects of the aircraft and not getting the ability to integrate anything of their own in there.

A desperate enemy will do anything and Modi & Co can easily overrule the IAF decision makers now that they have them groveling after the fiasco of May 7th.
Let them buy and that is why Trump trolling them, good for us 40000 USD per hour flight plus fear of US sanctions.

Damage to runway can repaired, how about your 6 jets including pride of the IAF, Ra-fail, which are at the scrapyard, can you repair them?😂
How can aircraft inside airbase hangars be safe if the hangars themselves have been bombed?
And Runways are being repaired only because there is a ceasefire. What if the war had continued? Damaging a runway renders the entire airbase useless.

Every F-35 mission has to be approved by DoD servers. If India gets F-35s, it will not be allowed to use them for stupid provocations against Pakistan. If India violates the US-enforced ceasefire it will not be able to use its F-35s from lack of servicemen, spare parts, etc.

It would be hilarious if they pull another rafale and ruin the last remaining western figther they can... They ruined the flankers, eurocarnards, now the F-35..... LOL

You can claim victory as much as you like—after all, that’s what the Pakistan Army has always done: Kargil, Balakot, 1965, and 1971.

You can claim victory as much as you like—after all, that’s what the Pakistan Army has always done: Kargil, Balakot, 1965, and 1971.
So what exactly is defined as "victory " in India?
-1948 -India loses 1/3 of Kashmir to Pakistan
-1949-India goes to the United Nations for mediation on Kashmir
-1954 India signs the Indus Water Treaty allowing Pakistan to interfere in any contruction of dams of the Indus tributaries
-1962 Sino-Indian war. India loses 38,000 sq.km of territory to China along a 1000 km front including the vital Aksai Chin region linking Pakistan occupied Kashmir with China
- 1965 - India fails to recapture Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, returns the modest tactical gains such as the Hajipir pass at a third party brokered Tashkent Agreement, India suffers significant losses in air-to-air combat with the Pakistan Air Force.
-1971-India Pakistan war. Results are even MORE interesting.
(a) India intervenes in Pakistan's civil war captures East Pakistan after allying with the rebels and promptly withdraws from its own territory that has seceded just 25 years earlier,
(b) India returns all prisoners of war ; exchanging 93,000 civilian and military prisoners for 600 of its own prisoners held by Pakistan,
(c) India returns 6000 sq. km of territory ( uninhabited desert) captured in Sindh but looses a crucial 100 sq km of territory, the Chambh-Jhaurian corridor in Kashmir, giving Pakistan a vital logistical link to Northern Kashmir.
(d) India signs the Simla agreement acknowledging Pakistan's control over North Western Kashmir as a Line of Control
(e) Post 1971 India loses political control of Bangladesh with Pakistan friendly governments in power. Pro India politicians like Mujeeb ur Rahman are assassinated or his daughter ousted from power, India's logistics to it's critical North Eastern states remain uncertain and Hindu minorities are allegedly harassed.

- Nuclear tests 1998 India tests nuclear devices but fails to disrupt Pakistan's quest for nuclear weapons parity. Pakistan tests nuclear weapons as a response.
- 1999 Kargil War - Despite overwhelming air superiority India fails to dislodge a Pakistani special forces mountain division incursion, and loses three aircraft to ground fire. The conflict is resolved through third party (US ) intervention with no punitive consequences for Pakistan which retains control of several key peaks and outposts captured.
Post Kargil War - India fails disarm Pakistan and stop large scale weaponization of Pakistan's nuclear devices with Pakistan developing a whole range of cruise, tactical and ballistic missiles directly targeting all of India. Pakistan develops a triad (air land & sea) of launch platforms threatening India with 170 nuclear warheads.
2019 Balakot strikes , India fails to destroy so-called terrorist hubs in an airstrike, and loses two fighter jets in a dog fight resisting a Pakistani counter-strike. India loses one aircraft over Pakistani territory and the pilot is captured and paraded in front of the media sipping tea.

2021-Ceasefire. India and Pakistan sign a ceasefire stopping artillery duels and loss of civilian life across the international border.

2025- Air strikes and aftermath : India accepts a ceasefire after loosing aircraft and failing to prevent Pakistani drones and missiles from entering its airspace.

So what is exactly is a military victory and defeat of an enemy:
Example: Defeat of Japan in 1945 with the complete destruction of its armed forces and surrender by its government.
(a) Complete disarmament and limitation of any armed forces rebuilding.
(b) Ten years of occupation and government by the occupying powers controlling and permanently transforming the society.

Has India done to Pakistan what the USA did to Japan ?
No country in the world repeatedly fights a war with an enemy claiming victory and allows the adversary to develop and pose a mortal threat of nuclear annihilation.

Don’t worry—nuclear exchange in South Asia will never happen. Nuclear weapons are not immune to Indian attacks; India is fully capable of targeting and neutralizing all nuclear installations within Pakistan.
And as a human being, you should be thankful to God Almighty that India possesses this capability.

Martyrdom has a different concept for us. There is no "Karma" or rebirth ( in a human or animal form) in our ideology. Your nuclear weapons are no protection to you. They only ensure what Dr, Henry Kissinger described, "we will all meet in heaven ". 😊

There will be no pre emptive attack on nukes by both sides.

Luckily the decision makers in India are not idiots. What you have claimed, the reverse is also true

When PTI baghora journalist say people will welcome Indian army, it gives likes of Modi wrong idea.

Now he is pissed because their attack backfired and united Pakistan. Now Field Marshal have free hand to go against any terrorist, the ongoing operation against BLA now is good exemple.
That's a big claim, you're going to have to prove it.

Regardless, this is a bad argument to make, because it has nothing to do with the original accusation that you made.

India will go for fifty gen platform and only option is f35
F-35 with a kill switch.
The Indians don't get it, do they? The Western weapons sold to India are to fight China, not Pakistan, India has been using Western weapons against Pakistan and come off second best 😊 much to the disappointment of the West. They don't want this to happen again,
India has a choice. Be fully armed and become a "Ukraine " to weaken China or fight its 1500 years old "Hindu-Muslim " war alone with Pakistan, Turkey and Bangladesh ( armed by China ) alone.
