Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

And hopefully better new defences for PAF airbases which I think is more required than the HQ19,,
We need HQs 9 , 19s all of them. Perhaps more than J35s. I expect such purchases on war footings. Upcoming budget will demonstrate this if we are all serious in taking lessons from this 3-4 days of conflict. Already clear chat in local media is of substantial enhancement in defense budget.

But claiming that they had Air Superiority is too far fetched of a claim. It was IAF aircraft that were firing these very weapons that have caused the damage across. They delivered what they wanted unopposed. And deep inside Paksiatn.
The surprise to IAF on day one lasted for that day.

Really? 😅
No IAF aircraft literally came within 200 KM of border for next 10 days. Only a couple of days back did your aircrafts fly sorties (to go back to pre-deployment / peace time configuration).

No Sir, mostly it was SSM BrahMos. Very few instances of ALCMs after earlier attack of 6-7 may that too while ensuring, they stay 200-300 km inside your airspace. Unfortunately for us, the geography doesn't allow the strategic depth. Most of bases are located within 150-200 km from border.

IAF didn't even try to intercept our attack formations on 10th. Didn't even bother taking off. Leaving totally everything up to the ground AD systems.

India hasn’t claimed that all Fatah missiles were shot down. India doesn’t have that kind of capability. AD is deployed to protect key installations, both civil and military. And a missile likely to hit them are attempted to be neutralised. It is again not possible to intercept each and very often them.

The Indian spokesperson had accepted that few bases were attacked and minor damage to men and material. No OSINT videos are required to prove this aspect. When a Fatah class of missile makes an impact, it is bound to cause massive blast and fire affect. The same has been captured and distributed as proof of destruction. Missile hitting inside a base and causing meaningful damage are two vastly opposite things. Missile hitting a runway or missing it by few meters is all the difference between being lethal or not.

This is where Fatah failed to make any credible effect.

There could be two main reasons for that -

1. Indian AD was very potent and neutralised most threatening missiles approaching them, thereby reducing damage to key installations.

2. Inaccuracy of Fatah as a system. Is Fatah capable of striking targets with pin point accuracy or is it an area weapon? Was it just fired towards Indian targets with an aim to cause area destruction or engage specific targets.

Both appear to be true in part.

Had some other accurate weapon been used, probably, Indian AD could have been beaten and better results obtained for Paksiatn.

Sure sure no damage saaar

Meanwhile BJP minister

Even in the very first attack of May 6-7 only two out of nine targets were hit by IAF. The seven others were hit by Indian army or by land

IAF lost at least four aircraft while trying to hit just two targets

But @Vkdindian1 thinks that it was IAF who fired the most missiles on 10th of May on Pakistani bases after losing multiple aircraft 🙂

It is clear as daylight that India lost many fighter jets. Including their premium fighters.

Visibly very shaken and uncomfortable. He is unwilling to answer her question regarding the number of fighter jets being shot down. The clown admits that fighter jets were downed.
