This is not always true. Russia does not provide any information of losses during combat for instance. During entire Russia Ukraine conflict, very little came information out of Russia.

Disagree : Though not as quickly as Western countries, Russia DOES (and always) acknowledge losses to its air assets even as combat is underway. The USA did acknowledge the downing of the U2 spy plane over the Soviet Union and by the way the U2 was operated by the CIA and was not technically a military aircraft and the USA and the Soviet Union were not engaged in combat.

Because very likely those kills either never happened or IAF was not sure it happened.

Then why should AVM Bharti claim these kills. Also, the Indian Air Force, the third largest Air Force in the world is not sure if it shot down any aircraft or not ? Yet, the IAF AVM makes a claim the IAF shot down "few hi tech" Pakistani aircraft.

If Pakistan can rely on international media to tell its story, why India should not rely on the same media?

So is Pakistan a standard for India as the third most powerful military power to follow ? Shouldn't India set its own standards for credibility ? Especially since Pakistan's claims are all fake anyway.

only meaningful and visible damage on bases was bholari that penetrated the hangar. Runway craters on rest dnt mean anything
there are protocols to fix runways within 2-3 hours. Jacobad airbase image shows attack on hangar but it looks like Hangar survived
on the other Hand , Even 1 Rafale kill is > damage india inflicted to 11 bases. Rafale is prized Jet of West , often put in same league as of F-35 or Even F-22 in dog fight scenario.

So yes, India like many other countries can also hide its losses and details temporarily.

India is not like "many other countries ".
"Many other countries " don't produce war movies that depict fiction and then feed their population on the hype. Other countries , even dictatorships take war far more seriously and announce losses both to their own population and the world. It builds credibility and as a bonus these countries are taken far more seriously during future conflicts.
China admitted losing troops in the Galwan incident in 2020 and didn't claim more losses inflicted on the enemy, other than the count of 20 bodies returned. India claimed 40 Chinese soldiers killed but didn't return a single dead body to China
