i really sympathize with Indian Muslims. But lets not act like they are fond of us.

Most practical solution to the Kashmir issue is to make LOC official border.

That was what the Musharraf-Manmohan understanding was about. But it was not a simple LoC = IB; there were at least a dozen major points.
I used to be enthusiastic about that formula but looking at India's global and Pakistan stances, I have doubts about India's intentions. Under Modi, it is a different India. And even if Modi is removed from power, who is to guarantee that the next India govt wouldn't pursue similar or worse policies?
India is over crowded, poor, and resource starved and so need resources and the water flowing through Kashmir is too important for India.

Exactly: Every single war movie produced by the USA, Russia, China, or UK is meticulously checked by consultants and military historians for the back drop.
For your education: There are two types of movies. Near documentary re-enactment of battles or wars, and a theme type with a historical background. In either case the historical events are NEVER distorted. There are minor discrepancies usually related to props such as SMLE Mark 4 rifles shown in use in a World War 1 movie but even that is rare.
