Same goes for PAF effort on 7th. IAF quickly adapted and knew what to do within a span of two days. And displayed it on 10th.
So the narrative changed.
Since the internet and phone services around the area targeted by Pakistan were disabled, the videos of Fatah-2 strikes captured on phone cameras by the residents could not be uploaded to social media. Many phones were confiscated by the authorities but tens of thousands survived with thousands of videos saved to the memory. As the internet and phone services have been restored to full capability ( from the bare bones voice and text) these video clips will produce overwhelming evidence of the scale and devastation of the Fatah 2 strikes.
Pakistan was stupid not to disable picture and video uploads well before the 6th May, The uploads of video and pictures allowed India to refine and better organize the missile hits.
But as your CDC Lt. Gen, Chauhan would say .." lessons learned"
For argument sake, if you think that they were all SSMs then that is good for IAF. Since IAF ALCMs would be an element not assessed by your forces.
We are obviously not going to confirm which ALCMs got through where and whether the hit was by a SSM or ALCM. We are stupid but not that stupid.
I guess CM400 was the only one used by your side. Luckily, IAF knew what to do with it even without prior data on it.
A tender with Almaz Antey who makes the Cheeseboard target acquisition radar will reveal whether the IAF knew how to stop the CM-400 . Mysteriously, the only people visiting Adampur and Uddhampur air bases where the S-400 have been deployed are the Prime Minister and Defence Minister, The Air Chief or Deputy Air Chief were absent. A close up visual showing the Cheeseboard radars intact would have caused a huge disappointment to the PAF that they had really messed up the mission.
Each conflict throws new challenges. The next one could be quite different from this one.
Fun fact: Yesterday the Ukrainians targeted a S-400 protected airbase in Murmansk 300 km away using swarm of drones destroying 40 planes and the S-400 launchers. To be noted: S-400s are not invincible and frankly using expensive CM-400 AKG homing anti-radiation missiles and risking the lives of pilots is entirely unnecessary.
