No doubt. Which ever way we look at these skirmishes, Pakistan came out on top.

The Indians were too high on international support for their cause. Apart from lip service no one came forward to take any side. Indians were left dumb struck when even Trump remained neutral. Many Hindutva media channels even scolded Trump and the world for not speaking for their cause.

It has been a thorough defeat for Hindustan not only militarily, but also diplomatically.

They had to use their best missiles and upto 100s of them to hit a few of our airbases. We showed restraint in our retaliation. Agar ham apna best use karte aur locked in hote this would not be only a stalemate favoring pakistan but a decisive victory. I dont care if i get hate for saying this

After an hour of deep thought over a cup of evening tea, I have concluded that something is terribly wrong with the IAF.

Due to the nature of "news," one must always propagate and adhere to a particular narrative by continuously updating the evidence and denying opposing claims.

I have not observed this happening, which leads me to conclude that there must be losses on the IAF side. However, I cannot calculate the number, as I lack correct and reliable information.

There are just more and more videos of IAF wreckages and how come they are mum about that!

The IAF is not good enough. That is just the bitter truth that the Indians will have to accept. Being patriotic and supporting your side is one thing. Being realistic and admitting your shortcomings is another. Indians aren't good at admitting their shortcomings.

Indian navy and Air Force was completely paralyzed forcing india to use nuclear armed missile as last resort

Its share luck that Pakistanis didnt reply with nuclear weapons

I think indian use of nuclear weapons systems made American really irked and angry forcing a ceasefire

Pakistan has a good Navy with excellent weapons at their disposal to tackle any misadventure by the Indian Navy. In the coming years Pakistan Navy will go under go some serious upgrades and changes.

Beyond the first 2 days and strikes Airforce went out of the picture on both sides. The skirmish moved to drones and cruise missiles.

Air assets are too costly to move close to each other's AD. The drones meanwhile can get away easily.

In BVR engagements the one who locks in first has the advantage. PAF inflicted losses on IAF on the first day yes but we don't know what would've transpired in a larger scale war.

Quantity is a quality of its own, india does have the bigger arsenal. PAF has an admirable set of air assets but we can't judge overall performance on a day's engagement.

IAF is in dire need of newer and better aircraft though. Rafales are too low in number and the integration with local systems is not the best. The best way for IAF is to go for band aid purchase of a 5th gen fighter for now till our own AMCA is up and running (likely 10 more years).

Yes lessons were learnt on both sides. Most prominent thing about this war was the drone warfare on both sides.

Actually I beg to differ on this. Pakistan flew CAPs and faced no resistence what so ever.......I found it strange that the Indian chief claimed that the IAF were down for two days......From my info and talking to active people Indians were flying but they were keeping seperation of minimum 200 km to avoid the disaster of the first day. Another thing is that the Rafael was withdrawn to furthur back bases and did not participate in the war again.

I can understand the fear of IAF....They needed to understand what happened and what caused their planes to get shot down. Two days is too short of a time to evaluate and impliment defensive measures.

Over all the IAF was not seen in any offensive mode at all and relied heavily on ground launched Brahmos to strike us along with the drones.

If you imagine for a second the consequences of getting 4-6 planes shot down on the first day and first engagement ...No airforce can recover from such devestating loss....

Here is another analogy......If one looses4-6 wickets in the opening spell , it is very difficult to recover....But knowing Indians their middle and late order does take a stand and fight back....I am glad we didnt hang around and prolonged the war long enough to find that out ))))

The Indian Airforce Chief blamed Indian aircraft industry for not supplying the Tejas fighters on schedule. Diverting the blame and gas lighting Indian people from their own incompetence. Butcher of Gujarat and his goons have seen too many Bollywood where they defeat Pakistan but reality is different.

We just need to Improve our Navy and AD plus we are getting J-35 so thats gon be crazy


HQ-19B is very good equivalant to THAAD we shoild get HQ 17 and DF 17 hypersonic missile to counter brahmos

The winner of this conflict though was ultimately china. Got a huge PR boost with weapons after PAF counter attacked IAF effectively. Stocks went up and they smell money and thats why they are giving us more stuff

Now that the fog of war is lifting we can perhaps construct a rudimentary timeline of events that happened during Indo-Pak skirmishes 2025.

- Indians either orchestrated or deliberately allowed Pahalgam attacks to happen. No police force nor army nor paramilitary arrived despite the existence of police station/ 1RR camp/ 116 CRPF Bn camps a stone's throw away.

- 10 mins after the massacre was over, Indian police filed an FIR against "Pakistani masters".

- No investigation nor manhunt for the perpetrators which was very odd. They still remain at large.

- BJP decided to use the event as a way to rile up domestic support as usual, to launch attacks on Pakistan and to force Pakistan into renegotiating IWT. Specifically the right to object to Indian dam designs & storage rights.

- Indian military cautioned against the idea and frankly expressed their capability shortcomings & Pak capabilities to strike back/ inflict pain.

- Indian political leadership shrewdly distanced themselves from the debacle and made a show of "full op control" given to military.

- Indian military waited for weeks to gather intelligence on their targets but mostly failed as the strikes killed civilians. 0 big name LeT/JeM figures.

- IAF believed large numbers and firing SOWs from Indian airspace would deter PAF from retaliating. They had multiple strike and escort packages nevertheless.

- PAF indeed operated under strict ROE of no shooting unless IAF violates airspace or attacks them.

- PAF ROE were changed on moments notice when they detected Indians dropping SOWs. PAF engaged and shot down those aircrafts which fired SOWs, in the momentous 1h battle.

- Chaos ensued and IAF jets hurried back to their hangers after the losses.

- PAF was ordered not to pursue or strike again. Decision-makers believed this was enough retaliation to establish deterrence and rest could be done by army, to avoid escalation into war.

- Desperate Indians began drone probes after grounding of their Airforce to deter the feared Pak retaliation.

- Pak side delayed too long, deliberating on a counter strike that is proportionate and doesn't escalate - contrary to public proclamation of disproportionate response.

- DG ISPR Presser to foreign journalists where he told Journalists to remember Pakistani kids when Pak action begins, broke the camel's back and Indians panicked hard.

- The Pakistani land forces mobilization, posture and PAF proven air dominance made Indians fear a full war focused on Kashmir which caused a panic.

- Indian military ordered desperate LRV strikes on PAF bases and Pakistani cities to deter the war or at least degrade PAF capabilities to equalize the air war if deterrence failed.

- Now Pakistan panicked and launch Op Bunyan Al Marsoos with Air and Land forces much earlier than they wanted and with smaller scope. IAF/IA bases targeted.

- Ajit Doval called Trump to claim Pak was preparing for nuclear strikes (a lie, as proven by Indian CDS).

- Trump & his team got DGMOs of both sides to connect and figure out the off ramps.

- Indian political leadership stepped back in, denying diplomatic costs of the ceasefire and spreading fantasy tales.

- Indian foreign service is lambasted for its failures and MPs are sent abroad to convince foreign govts. No foreign govt hosted or met these delegations except Colombia, another disaster.

- Indian military begins feeling like it is being scapegoated and CDS utilizes Singapore hosted Shangri-la summit to deal 3 blows to BJP. First confirming air losses, 2nd confirming IAF was grounded, 3rd rubbishing BJP lies on nuclear issues.

- BJP gets caught in own devices. It has lionized the military too much to summarily discipline the uppity CDS. But it also cannot let this slip. Military however is way too entrenched in Indian public Psyche now, to detriment of BJP.

- There will be consequences of this fiasco on Indian politics. Now we just sit back and wait.
