JAIPUR: The intelligence wing of the state police on Wednesday arrested a clerk from New Delhi, posted at the Naval office in the national capital, for allegedly leaking classified defence information to a Pakistani handler during sensitive operations, including the recently concluded Op Sindoor.
The accused, Vishal Yadav, a resident of Punsika village in Rewari, Haryana, was working as an upper division clerk at the directorate of dockyard in Nausena Bhawan. Intelligence officials said he was in constant contact with a female Pakistani handler operating under the alias ‘Priya Sharma', with whom he interacted on various social media platforms.

Inspector general of police (security) Vishnukant Gupta said his activities came to light as the intelligence wing had been maintaining surveillance on suspected espionage activities of people, including Yadav, linked to Pakistani networks. He was found to be leaking sensitive and strategically significant information related to Nausena Bhawan to his handler in exchange for money.
Yadav was jointly interrogated by various intelligence agencies at the central interrogation centre in Jaipur. Investigators discovered that he was addicted to online gaming and incurred substantial financial obligations.



To support his addiction and repay debts, he allegedly transmitted confidential documents to the Pakistani handler and received payments via cryptocurrency (USDT) and conventional banking channels.


A forensic examination of his mobile phone revealed several chat exchanges and document transfers, clearly indicating espionage. Officials confirmed that Yadav shared sensitive information during the course of Op Sindoor.




Following the confirmation of the leak, the Rajasthan CID intelligence arrested Yadav on Wednesday under the Official Secrets Act, 1923, on charges of espionage.

India also shocked Pakistan with strikes on all Pakistani air bases so they feel vulnerable and the lack of strategic depth discussed so many times is reality now
