Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Well, in my understanding, that’s exactly what the BJP government has been trying to do—avoid direct confrontation with Pakistan until India becomes strong enough to render it irrelevant. It’s a strategy quite similar to what China has been doing with the U.S. in the context of Taiwan.
China is already far stronger than India, and it is ensuring that India doesn't become strong enough to threaten its ally Pakistan. It's strategy is similar to the way in which the USA ensures no country can threaten the existence of its ally Israel. Which is why the Chinese and Pakistani armed forces are co-ordinating both on the Western Theater Command and on the Line of Control.. "One front two-adversaries" as summed up by your Vice Chief of Army Staff Lt. General Rahul Singh,
That’s why India appeared to start the last conflict with a somewhat misplaced urgency to end it quickly, once its intended message was delivered—without fully anticipating Pakistan’s unpredictable response or its unclear ambition to establish some form of dominance over Pakistan. As a result, India is now paying a price in terms of losing the perception war.
India is not just losing the perception war but also the strategic war:
  • India has failed to break the alliance between China snd Pakistan
  • India has failed to diplomatically isolate Pakistan..
  • India has failed to get international condemnation of Pakistan for sponsoring terror and get UN/Western isanctions imposed on Pakistan.
  • India has failed to regain territory it claims is illegally occupied by both Pakistan and China
The next conflict, whenever it happens, is likely to drag on much longer. India may feel compelled to see it through to a conclusion that’s clearly in its favour—something that makes the future potentially very dangerous.
Could you define what is the "conclusion " India has war gamed? The following objectives have long been known
  • Recovery of Azad Kashmir (Pakistan Azaad Kashmir)
  • Destruction of the Pakistani Armed Forces and a mass surrender
  • Occupation and control of entire Pakistan with depopulation and demographic change
A senior Indian defense analyst has two brief point based videos on how the next war/wars will be played out:

By the way, I’m a pacifist and hate seeing innocent people killed. If it were up to me, I’d put Munir and Modi in a ring as champions of their respective sides and let them fight it out like in the old days.
In such a theoretical combat Modi would likely come off second best.
Modi is older, has had no military style combat training or experience, other than the RSS lathi drill and a few stabbings/lynchings during communal riots
Munir is younger with standard military arms training and probably retains much of his combat experience including basic training in unarmed combat.
So if everything is to be decided by one-on-one personal combat, Pakistan would be more than willing to accept the challenge.

Question:
So what was that "sleepy factory" producing "5000 Brahmos missiles a year for 17 years " ? This would be equivalent to a 3 months output of ONE automated Chinese missile manufacturing unit turning out components and assemblies of 1000 missiles per day ( three full shifts). Pakistan is unlikely to run out of missiles anytime soon.

Excuse my ignorance. I ned some education here
  • Is our foreign and military policy governed by "Islamic Law" ?
  • Is our enemy's policy governed by the UN Charter, International Law and "basic human decency " ?
  • I agree we can't hit "anything of substance " with our missiles, and we can't retaliate for the killing of our civilians and destruction of our houses of worship. Should we keep begging our enemy to have mercy on us?
Our enemy says they spared us because we begged for mercy. Based on what you said it appears our enemy is correct. Will they continue showing us their "mercy " ?

To survive we must surrender, accept annexation, slavery and dishonor of our women because under International Law, UN Charter and basic human decency we must not fight a hopeless fight like the foolish Gaza people.

My sincere condolences on the death of logic, reasoning, and wisdom of DEEN.

I strongly believe BJP not going to win election and it’s most probably Congress is coming back.
I may disagree here. The BJP will always win "elections".
The BJP regime wins elections through manipulation and disenfranchisement of voters it sees are hostile.

Since they were at the base, they are unlikely to be in use when attacked. Since, the primary purpose of these was for dispersed state. @side-winder has touched upon this aspect in his post above.

Operationally, this attack may not have had any impact on PAF capability. But, it was still a high value assest and showed precise attack capability of IAF.

Yes it showed precise attack capability of IAF. One of the few impressive hits by IAF itself on 10th (rest majority being SSMs with over 50-60% interceptions including 100% for Rafiqui). However, in terms of monetary value im sure the missile itself cost more than what those 2 empty trailers did. But yeah impressive hit - doesn't matter even if did from extreme stand off range.

  • India has failed to break the alliance between China snd Pakistan - India will not be able to do that until it resolves its border dispute with China. Pakistan has nuisance value, which China leverages to keep India embroiled in South Asia — that is Pakistan's utility to China
  • India has failed to diplomatically isolate Pakistan - It's a short-lived euphoria for Pakistan, gaining some diplomatic mileage. It will soon evaporate unless Pakistan makes itself relevant to the West — either by fulfilling a strategic need, as it did in the past with Afghanistan, or by becoming economically attractive
  • India has failed to get international condemnation of Pakistan for sponsoring terror and get UN/Western isanctions imposed on Pakistan.n - India has moved beyond the stage of seeking validation for its grievances. Judging by the current mood, actions will come first — validation will follow post facto
  • India has failed to regain territory it claims is illegally occupied by both Pakistan and China - None of the three countries are in a position to gain territory from one another without triggering a catastrophic war

So cute that now instead of facts your responses are full of wishful thinking and words like "Until", "short lived", "soon", "actions will"....

Coping is a bitch ain't it!?
