With what?
They would have zero air cover besides their surface to air missiles -
Any Naval adventures would be mauled by A2/AD and since they still havent breached that xxx km barrier the PAF created for air assets they cannot degrade the A2/AD net enough to even come close to firing sea based Brahmos.

All that is left is using mass men and material across the IB for which they need air cover as well.

Until they induct something to counter PAF ranges - they are best left to ground launches of Brahmos or the occasional Scalp launch.

I think it would be naval misadventure this time because they haven't tried it yet, this will only be done if the other front is active (Afghanistan) or we are busy with some internal problems

They are welcome to try but for that they need to really provide a combination of heavy air cover - so they can have enough ASW out there - and then also carry out precision strikes at moments notice as the A2/AD quills start propping up.

Very doable for them - if they know how to execute it.
