Look at a map - the western three rivers run through barren Indian controlled lands with a negligible population and handed to Pakistan. The eastern three rivers which run through Indian Punjab and occupied Kashmir were given to India.

It was a decently fair 50-50 split - if we’re talking population wise, it should’ve been in Pakistan’s favor since Pakistani Punjab and Sindh has a bigger population than every Indian controlled territory which touches the Indus system combined.

Indian Kashmir, Haryana , Punjab , Himachal made up 60+% of the 1960's population of Pakistani Kashmir, Punjab and Sindh. means India should've gotten ~40% (60/160) of water, Yet its foolish leaders agreed to give Pakistan disproportionately higher about 75% share of the water.

I am also a son of army officer , I had green card but decided to settle in my own country .....I don't want to be a second class citizen of any country......I have Caucasian looks and it was easier for me than most Pakistanis to assimilate .

Imagine if India landmass was Pakistan and Pakistan landmass was India......
Do you really believe that this natural wealth would have survived the way its in India?
I can imagine your generals opening this treasure for stealing natural wealth and hunting animal wealth tours for Arabs, Chinese and western countries.....

I have talked to many many people in Sindh and literally they all are of the view they don't have water anymore. In interior Sindh even white collar people are begging.
If Pakistan army can't take our rivers back then Pakistan is not obliged to spend anymore money on these useless people.
