Pakistan is getting dry

Give me a reason why should india follow iwt other than its good will ?
China India dont have any treaty, why should India have ?
As an upper riparian we should have get aleast get 50 percent share from the total amount of water but we got only 20 percent from the total amount, India many times tried to update the treaty but pakistan did not corporate, in the end there is no treaty now.
Don't worry we cant even store that much water , in the end it will be released, Pakistan just needs more dams that is all.
Lets just say in a one or 2 decade India is able to store 10 % water, still you will get 90 % in future.
"Good will"??

Who do you think you are, declaring yourselves as arbiters of "good will" in the context of natural disasters. Bunch of subhuman halfwits - you don't understand the meaning of the term.

Disregard the issues of dam construction etc for a moment. Leave that aside.

Standard human practice is for any monitoring agency (REGARDLESS OF NATIONAL LOCATION) to share data that would save lives.

Early warning seismic data, climate data, flood data...you think nations who come upon this data only release it out of "conscious acts of good will" or do you think they simply share it without thinking or expecting anything "in return" because it is knowledge that will save lives? In fact, data is shared INSTANTLY with anyone who needs it to try and save civilian lives.

Even China and USA share such data that may save lives, routinely, without one lecturing the other of "good will". USA and Russia do it too.

Read your post before this one where you mentioned disasters are out of man's control and then remind yourself of the terms of the IWT.

You will withhold river surge data from us and a downstream flood ensues in Pakistan similar to what occurred in Nepal, and you will then take some pride in this? This data sharing was part of the same IWT that you have broken.

A vile qom indeed.

There is a reason so many Indians were in Nepal when this recent tragedy occurred. One hopes those back in India might have learned something about "good will".

Such catastrophic events cant be managed by human , flow of water can't be decided in such catastrophic events, if it would have been possible china would have been able to control the flow of such catastrophic event and save thousands of life
Monitoring is possible. Early warning is possible for a river as long as the Indus.

India should follow the treaty because countries are supposed to follow the agreements they signed. We know India won't follow it because it's a rogue state which likes to punish its neighbouring countries. Many Indians feel that their desire to punish and terrorize their neighbouring non-Hindu countries trumps international agreements, but that's not the case.

Indians don't have any of such feeling to punish non Hindu neighbours. Contrarily Indian govt helps countries like Sri Lanka with Line of Credits, despite them doing shenanigans like BRI/ Hambantota.
Pakistan might've done something insidious in past to land in such conditions with India

It wasn't too long ago Sri Lanka was in the midst of a horrific and devastating civil war where the main combatant was a terrorist army originally supported by them.

And India literally saved a genocidal tyrant in Kashmir and occupied the region right off the bat in 1947. This is the root of Indo-Pak tensions. Pakistan is a prime example of how India has tried to punish and destroy its non-Hindu neighbours.
