The Army Rocket Force Command conducted the successful training launch of the indigenously developed Fateh-II missile system, the military’s media wing said on Tuesday.

In a statement, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the missile system was “equipped with advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigation aids”.

It said that the training launch was aimed at training troops, validating various technical parameters and evaluating the performance of different sub-systems incorporated for “improved accuracy and enhanced survivability”.

ISPR added that the launch was witnessed by senior officers from the Strategic Plans Division (SPD), Army Rocket Force Command, and the Pakistan Army, as well as scientists and engineers from “strategic organisations”.

“The forum commended [the] successful training fire of [the] indigenously developed Missile of Fateh Series,” the statement added.

According to ISPR, President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, as well as services chiefs, lauded the “technical prowess, dedication and commitment” of the team.

Bhai no warhead, long time decided that missiles will not carry for testing purpose. So it was an kinetic impact warhead were being tested separately.
It seemed to have an explosion larger than just impact explosion we saw in the previous test. I could be wrong.

Look at the past test footage:

yes , the big thing is that this had the warhead
As I said no warhead just kinectic test with demi payload since long back it is been decided no live warheads on missiles test in ground.

As per sources Fatah II can carry big H.E warhead and in case of real warhead you would see big mushroom like explosion.

Bhai unburnt solid fuel along with kinetic hit can make such illusion but bet with me if live warhead F2 can make large mushroom like fire ball.

bhai , the solid fuel doesn't detonate per impact , thats the main things you have to make sure when designing the propellent secondly , this clearly had the warhead , also one thing is that F3 is now the new F2 (f2 has been elongated , at 0:05 you can see the upper fins which help in stabalizing ) and the older f2 will be with the Navy

Thank bhai for understanding since many people start abusing if you disagree with their narrative.
lol bro. Why would we do that, we are on the forum to discuss. Disagreement is part of the discussion, it actually enriches us with different perspectives.🙂

Bhai I am not challenging you but as am stating the fact that NDC and others developing B.M and other systems decided not to test missile with live warheads since an incident @Oscar may explain it further when deliberately or un-deliberately our Ghuari missile with live warhead land in Iran.

things from my understanding is that
This is a new TEL and has the khaki camo also we can see the command and control cabin open too .
There is a lot of confusion regarding F2/F3 and the PA is trying to decrease the distantce between the twos design , this is deffo the elongated f2 cuz you can make out the finsof the original f2 from this one (tho looks similar to f3 from afar)

The people thier seems to be viewing new caps , similar to the abdali test
