i wonder whether the PN would ever look to the Teseo series. The MK2/E/ER seem like very capable systems. There is a large stockpile of legacy AShM's that probably arent very well suited to modern combat still around. Legacy harpoons, maybe a couple of exocets, and C802's. Would be interesting if they pursued them on the A90's. The SM39 is not a cruise missile, rather a rocket, so would be curious if they decided to replace it. Especially if we went for a fincantieri based sub design for our others, would be neat to see a nice AShM. Heck, i wonder whether we'd see the teseo even on the Sultans! Bro it doesnt need to be in range of shore based defences. In can very reasonably put 100-150 brahmos CSG or SAG to sea and if they close within like 500km of PN they are cooked. Yes we have submarines and yes paf is there to respond in kind but the indians can with some very limited force projection box PN into harbor when we can only launch something like 30-40 weapons at that distance. In any surface engagement where more than 1/3 of IN is present PN surface force simply cannot function without incurring risk of heavy losses.

Actually PN+PAF can use mix of weapons like LMs with both subsonic and supersonic anti ship missiles+ that CM400AKG can confuse enemy's ADs. It takes some multiple hits on IN AC to stop them in their tracks. And also, ships are easier to spot. Pak will have ample time to think once their ships leave their harbours

Personally not a fan of Tesseo or even any Subsonic antiship missile.. BTW Is it even that tesseo that capable (if we compare it to other subsonics) ? I think It would be for the Sea sultans but its too BIG of a missile for a Submarine..

She is going to be commissioned this week, she doesn't have her CIWS yet, probably because of lack of funds but could it be that PN is holding out for the goksur or levent?
