Pakistan-Saudi Arabia mutual defense pact: News & Discussion

It is not about taking those people lightly but sometimes the cringe becomes unbearable. Humility is a virtue and vanity leads to judgmental sweeping statements that make this forum toxic.
Huzoor - don’t take this seriously but you are from Pakistan right? :p
Kya apni hi qaum ko nahin jaantein?

The leaked document revealed nothing that's not known.... wasted my time reading this crap hoping something interesting will be revealed.
Do we get unconditional support from Saudi, if again we have standoff situation with India. Or get advise to calm down and talk or offer mediation.

Obviously the latter. Commercial oriented GCC regards the Indian market as a higher priority than maskeen Pakistan.

That dropsite news article aligns with what most on here have said already. Pak provides SA muscle for its protection, it doesnt need physical Saudi assets or men but its $$ to help Pak wage defensive war should it need to.

Then shouldn't Pakistan fix its economic affairs such that it does not need this level of external support, and influence? If Pakistan properly documented its "black economy" then this issues will go away. We all know Pakistan chooses to not to, so that people can benefit from the corruption and you are then stuck with issues like this.

Its not difficult for Pakistan to fix, if it chooses to do so. It chooses to not do so, and that is a conscious decision on its part.
Hit the nail on the head.

We paid a loan back by taking out another loan, instead of finally exercising disciplined choice when the opportunity presented itself!

The disciplined choice in question was to reject national corruption, and we failed to even try. Lack of will puts us back into the same spiral of new loans evolving from old loans.

Rinse and repeat.

Mods, don't delete...because you and I both know this is the root cause of Pakistan's persistent inability to decisively interject in regional crises such as the current one, despite our now well established diplomatic prowess.

You're point here is right and I wish I could simply back it, but the Dropsite article you are relying on is b.s. because it rehashed the same tired fanfiction b.s. that "Washington drafted Shebaz's statement". I have explained why this theory is thoroughbred cock and bull previously, so any "article" that bases its narrative on such erroneous claims trivialises itself. Frankly, rehashing of such garbage pollutes the thread beyond recourse.

Sell Pakistanis self loathing randi rona, no matter how stupid, and they're sold hook, line and sinker.

Present reasoned arguments backed by logic and they think you're an idiot, or a pseudo intellectual :ROFLMAO: (I thoroughly enjoyed reading that lol)

Go figure.
Who needs enemies.

I had the pleasure and honour of meeting my dear brother, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in Jeddah today.

During the course of which, I conveyed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom and expressed my deep appreciation of its patience and restraint, under the sagacious leadership of His Royal Highness, in these challenging times.

I also shared recent developments related to Pakistan’s peace efforts which helped facilitate the U.S.–Iran ceasefire and historic peace talks in Islamabad.

I reiterated Pakistan’s firm commitment to advancing its efforts to encourage both the U.S. and Iran towards an agreement aimed at lasting peace and stability in the region.

Grateful to His Royal Highness, for his support of Pakistan's sincere peace efforts.

During my warm and constructive discussions with His Royal Highness, I also expressed sincere appreciation for the Kingdom’s consistent support for Pakistan’s economic stability, while highlighting the unique defence and security relationship between our two countries. We reaffirmed our commitment to further strengthening our enduring partnership.
