Pakistan-Saudi Arabia mutual defense pact: News & Discussion

This is the type of BS we should be telling the Gulf not to do if they want security.
In April 2025, Vance visited India, and then India invaded Pakistan. Pakistan defeated India.

In January 2026, India stopped funding the Chabahar Port project and unilaterally suspended the bilateral cooperation agreement. Iran arrested 73 Indian personnel suspected of installing spyware at Chabahar Port.

In February 2026, Modi visited Israel, married Israel, and then Israel invaded Iran.

India invited the Iranian Navy to participate in the 'Milan-2026' multinational exercise hosted by India. In March 2026, after leaving India, an Iranian frigate was ambushed by the United States, resulting in 104 military personnel dead and 32 injured. India did not provide rescue. Sri Lanka saved more than 30 survivors and recovered the bodies of the deceased.

In April 2026, with Pakistan's mediation, the U.S. and Iran held talks in Islamabad. This was Pakistan's effort to peacefully resolve the U.S.-Iran war, which met the expectations of the international community. Indian media and the public were envious of Pakistan's international status and mocked the Modi government's incompetence. The Indian government tried to belittle Pakistan. Indian Foreign Minister Sujashan downplayed Pakistan's role, calling Pakistan a 'broker.'

In April 2026, an Indian oil tanker attempted to break through the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran attacked the Indian oil tanker. There are four main reasons. First, Modi supports Israel. Second, Iran accused India of allegedly leaking intelligence to the U.S. during the sinking of the USS 'Denar' frigate; India's actions were seen as inviting a guest into its home to be killed by the enemy. Moreover, after the incident, India provided no rescue, not even humanitarian aid or donations. Third, India supported the U.S. and Israel while hoping to obtain energy from Iran but was unwilling to help Iran on key issues. Fourth, India invested in Chabahar Port to weaken the strategic advantage of CPEC, and Iran agreed to India's request. However, India stopped its cooperation agreement with Iran in order to support Israel.

India's foreign policy is extremely despicable, and no country is willing to be friends with India.

Now India is trying to prevent contact between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, which is the funniest thing I have heard today. India persecutes Muslims and yet thinks it has the ability to limit the interactions between two Muslim countries. This is an internal matter of the Muslim world, and India has neither the ability nor the reason to interfere in Muslim internal affairs. More importantly, can India offer security guarantees to Saudi Arabia? The invincible Tejas fighter jet has already become a pile of scrap metal.

On February 7, 2026, a Tejas ran off the runway during landing.

In March 2026, another Tejas crashed during landing.

International status and strength need to match. India has shown that the position of the world's third does not match India's international status, so now India's international status has declined.

If I were a Saudi official, I would ask India one thing: Do you have the ability to interfere in internal Muslim affairs? You can't even solve the farmers' fertilizer problem.

Should give us money similar amount to USA…
Those funds are too much.

For example, Saudi Arabia bought U.S. warships, 4 ships costing 6 billion dollars. Pakistan bought 4 Type 054AP ships for 1.4 billion dollars. If Saudi Arabia provides 6 billion dollars, Pakistan can get 17 Type 054AP ships, which is a huge naval force.

This is just a small part of the amount Saudi Arabia spends on purchasing U.S. equipment.

Strange. Haftar in Libya is supposed to be the GCC guy and Saudi was against the RSF (UAE proxy) in Sudan. This may be due to Saudis feeling a financial pinch due to Iran war and asking for delay. Still a loss for Pakistan.
The pact has proven too one sided. Our blood isn’t cheap to be sold for mere loans.

According to the article, Western countries are pressuring Riyadh to not get involved in proxy wars.

thats a shame ..i thought we are going to get some leverage. i pray that only loans is not a part of the deal

Maybe we all need another thread or add Qatar in this one

We also have right to rip them off like USA…. 😆😆😆 being net security provider is a big achievement… 🙂🙂🙂
Indians will soon be slaving away in the middle east for Arab governments, in order to build the economies of those governments, which will then directly fund the expansion of Pakistan's military-industrial complex.

I imagine Sunil Gavaskar will be most upset by this dynamic.

I don't like involving Qatar personally. But every cloud..
