Pakistan-Saudi Arabia mutual defense pact: News & Discussion

It's remarkable how Pakistanis become experts on warfare and inevitability of collateral damage but cry like little girls when its their own country having to strike terrorists that produces collateral. If it isn't a case of an inferiority complex rooted in self-hatred, then what is?

They are in the Iran thread cheering it on but crying at Pakistani strikes in Afghanistan!
You are missing one key difference though. Afghan Taliban are not a government. They are a terrorist group who is occupying Kabul with the power of gun, hosting many global terrorist groups in Afghanistan, and sending terrorists and suicide bombers into Pakistan and other courtiers. The terrorist TTA/TTB getting active support from Indians (Iranian mullahs 'natural allies' and Taliban's DNA-mates) and Israelis is not surprising either. So, Pakistani is not just fighting against terrorist Afghan Taliban but also the enemies of Islam and Muslims (i.e. Hindutva and Zionists) in Afghanistan. Hitting and killing terrorist Taliban is also directly in support of the people of Afghanistan, especially the women and girls.

It's next to impossible to sell foreign wars specially one involving Muslim infighting to the Pakistani masses. The backlash of pursuing such a policy is a nightmare scenario for any government in Pakistan.
Just as Pakistan, in my view, compelled the Afghan Taliban government earlier this year—and India's Hindu nationalist government—to reassess their actions, the same reality check now needs to reach Iran's fanatical IRGC.

That's also what I was saying, I edited it to make it clearer.

The same people in the Iran thread are preaching how collaterial can't be avoided but complain about our strikes in Afghanistan or TTP, the shameless double standards against their own country are disgusting
One of the most shameful things I've witnessed on this forum is seeing some Pakistanis consistently place the interests of Afghanistan or Iran above those of Pakistan.

If they're so convinced those countries deserve their loyalty, why not embrace them instead? The irony is that many of them don't even live there. 😱

Neither of the mentioned cats have been belled either.

Whose going to reason with Persian nationalists? Pakistan can atleast understand IRGCs obsession and its limitations.

Have a read of this article to understand why:

3rd paragraph.

Najam Sethi said a similar thing yesterday in his show. As per his chirya, Chinese told Ishaq dar in China You have until Monday/Tuesday to save the Islamabad MoU from collapsing and to make an all out effort in saving the region from devastating war.

Incorrect. Otherwise that exactly can be said about any martial law or hybrid system (backed by military power). Military power = Power of Gun.

So we can say many things to afghan taliban but they are actually the government. This type of a government has a name. Authoritarian & strict theocracy. Otherwise if you are thinking that government is only democracy then China, Russia, all of middle east, NK, many in Africa are not democracies.

Man while Muslim states fight and bomb each other, the zionists are planning their next move. The history of us unfortunately is littered with constant fighting amongst one another. We need to strengthen alliances create strong military blocks which can prevent war, europe formed the EU and got their protection from the US in exchange to trade heavily with the US, Pak needs to adopt a similar approach and help to align muslim countries together.

The cunning zionists never stop thinking about creating chaos, there needs to be counter planning against this.

Problem is presenting enough profit to Trump so he reigns in Israeli subversive efforts and getting Iranians to cool it a bit for regime propaganda.

Pakistan was able to get Iranians the best possible deal in that MoU. Everyone, after reading the text of the MoU, would be of the opinion that Iran was the winner. The shit in Iranian skull interpreted it as the defeat for the US and a need for Pakistan. Neither of these is true. In addition, some/major elements in Iran didn't like the enormous increase in Pakistan global stature either.

Pakistan did all this mediation to save the region from devastation that Zionists planned for igniting a war between Shai and Sunni Muslims. Luckily that devastation is not in the interest of the US and China either. Iranians on the other hand tried every possible tactic for that war to break-out by launching missile and drone attacks on almost every Arab country, and foolishly so, including Qatar and Oman too. The world must admire Pakistan's efforts for prevailing on Arabs for not retaliating those attacks and appreciate Saudis for understanding and restraining.

China would certainly like the region not dragged into further turmoil. However, Chinese are unlikely to intervene in the war in Iran's support. Not at all. Chine's only strategic interest in Iran is to keep its oil inflow uninterrupted. Other than that, Iran has no strategic significance for Chine. If Straight of Hormuz gets closed due to Iranian stupidity and arrogance, that will not go smoothly with Chinese either.

In fact - China's oil imports have already been heavily disrupted, I believe they are afraid of US intervention via Taiwan or somewhere.

No action from China so far
