With the utmost respect for Pakistanis and Pakistanis but I don't recall Pakistan ever doing this actively. You know, other than mere political statements and limited stationing of Pakistani advisors (many retired) and a few Pakistani fighter jets in mostly Tabuk in the Northwest which is part of a long-held decade old agreement.

Have in mind that RSAF is one of the most powerful air forces in the world as well as battle proven in modern conflicts.

Pakistani involvement against Houthis has not occurred since March 2015 either. The progress in Yemen was all done by the Yemeni army and KSA.

Same KSA that quickly defeated the UAE and Southern Yemeni separatists within days back in January 2026.

Iranian has yet to attack KSA other than a few useless drones and missiles, mostly targeting US military stationed in Prince Sultan Air Base.

KSA, since 1973 (when 2000 + Saudi Arabian troops were stationed in the Syrian frontline) have not had any single skirmishes with Israel.

KSA could have demolished all of Sana'a (indeed one of the most beautiful cities in the world and oldest ones - beautiful Arabian city in Arabia close to KSA's borders), within 1 hour if that was the goal. KSA has never destroyed any historical sights in Sana'a deliberately which is why the entire old part of Sana'a remains intact. My concern is Pakistan getting dragged into this conflict, because Saudis have exploited Pakistan's poverty and misrule to provide some oil and charity from time to time, based on a "defense pact" which nobody except the army chief has seen.

KSA has been the economic lifeline of Pakistan for a long time, hosts the largest Pakistani diaspora in the world that sends billions of remittances back each year and in general ties are historical and span pre-Islamic (since the IVC appeared in history and its close trade ties with Dilmun, Magan, Sumer etc. in Eastern Arabia alone), Islamic, people to people, religious, cultural, linguistic (Urdu and all native Pakistani languages use the Arabic alphabet and Arabic has heavily influenced Urdu) etc.

Speaking of which, do you know that we have a sizable Saudi Arabian community of South Asian origin (every ethnicity found in Pakistan) due to Hajj, Umrah and millennia old trade ties as well as more recent intermarriages?

But as I have written many times before, Pakistna needs to gets its act together. 250 million people and the economic output is too low. You need to combat corruption and play into the hands of the Pakistani human capital. That would make Pakistan a much more attractive investment destination.

You do know what they say about beggars. You can help the same beggar once or twice but the third, fourth, fifth etc. time he asks for help, after you telling him to get its act together, the more tiring it gets.

Not necessarily referring to Pakistan here but a host of former or present regimes that KSA has helped. Some never changed and now belong in the dustbin of history among others because they did not listen to common sense.
