Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signed an agreement on Tuesday to abolish visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, official and special passports.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar signed the agreement with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, he said in a post on X.

DPM Dar hoped the step would “further facilitate high-level engagement and institutional exchanges, and contribute to advancing our enduring and brotherly strategic partnership across all areas of mutual interest”.

On a serious note, why did these countries sign this agreement if Saudis have to fight Houthis alone, Pakistan has to fight India alone, Turkey has to fight Greece alone. Why the photo op then.....

Well what's the point of NATO if Britain had to fight Argentina alone, Turkey had to fight in Syria alone, US had to fight Iran alone?

2 - Syria is not covered under the NATO treaty.

There was a squadron based there but the requirement was more skilled manpower.
That will be utilized with discretion under anything that can be qualified as operating to defend the territorial and infrastructure integrity of the kingdom.
