no, this pact does not mean, Pak. has no understanding with our players.
Pact is meant to bring in sanity between partners.

IMO, the only worrying thing about this pact is Syria not IR.

thats what they are trying to hide!

So I was going to share an image of people celebrating whilst eating Majboos... When I came across this image...

Like WTAF? 😆😅🤣

twist: they are actually Christians, only showing themselves as Hindus!

I have seen many South Indians, disliking stern Gujrati mindset.

mostly Christian South Indians, openly eat beaf in front of gujratis!

It reminds me of this, said by a journalist "and then we’ll see what America really thinks of you. Friend? Master? Or that double-dealing old ally who can still hunt?" on Trump meeting Field Marshal Asim Munir

As far as the "double dealing" part goes - let's not kid ourselves and admit everyone only works to further their own national interest.

Glad to see you after a long time and even better to read your invaluable input on this.

How do Saudi people perceive about this development? It came as a surprise to me, suddenly I saw Pakistani flags propping up all over Riyadh and next day defence pact signed lol.

I hope Turkey gets inclusion too and we end up making Islamic NATO which really do more than just condemnation. Hate this word already
6-7 month break, family obligations (another child) and life in general prevented me from writing here and using the internet/social media much. Good to see you well and alive as well brother and all the other users here that I remember and have interacted with even if we have not always agreed with everything. Which is good as echo chambers are boring.

As you know Saudi Arabians and Arabs as a whole in general, especially those of us that are religious (vast majority to this day thankfully), have great respect for Pakistan as the arguably main military Muslim power. I always wanted to see a strong and powerful Pakistan that was more involved in our region because I believe that Pakistanis are friends of Arabs and genuinely want the best for us (by large). We are also bound by religion, culture, millennia old history (that I described earlier in this thread going back to IVC, Sumer, Dilmun and Magan etc. - we are talking at least 5000 + years), ancestry (Arabs and Pakistanis are far closer than with most other people for instance say with Europeans, Indonesians, Africans and many others - just check every single DNA tests - the whole Western Asia region spanning until Pakistan is fairly closely related - all of us are largely olive-skinned/brown Caucasians racially), many people to people relations (intermarriages, work, people to people in the past 50-70 years) and even before Pakistan was created and even before modern-day KSA (1932 onwards - various Saudi states existed 250 + years prior let alone the many other entities before that), used to have trade and people to people relations long before. How Islam was also spread to Sindh (no coincidence given the IVC angle).

Anyway you live and have lived in KSA for much of your live, you know the people and country, unlike Pakistanis based in the West whose only experience with KSA might have been family members visiting for Hajj, Umrah, mostly propaganda news etc. hence all the blanket (often) ridiculous statements of Arabs (in particular KSA who are some of the most diverse and tolerant Muslim nations as you know, every single ethnic group live in KSA and almost every single Muslim ethnic group from Bosniaks to Indonesians, are Saudi Arabians (citizens) due to century old migrations, Hajj, Umrah etc. There is this failed/wrong opinion of Arabs (in particular from GCC - who ironically are far, far less racist than many other Arabs, lol), see non-Arab Muslims as worse people. Nothing could be more wrong. It only happens from a small segment of people, the same people who view other Arab clans, tribes and certain Arabs for not being Arab enough. You have those same segment of people saying that 90% of Saudi Arabians are not real Arabs and only they are. So such tiny minority people are retarded and nothing can be done to cure them before they wise up. We are talking about a very tiny minority here that is also dying off luckily.

But I can tell you that you can find such people in every Arab and Muslim country and I can tell you that some of those idiots, from other Arab countries, for instance call some Arabs from Arabia for Pakistanis and Indians as some kind of slur. So there are retards everywhere but luckily they are a small/tiny, albeit often loud minority everywhere. I believe that they are found in Pakistan as well, at least I have seen similar stupid comments on PDF from a few users based on other ethnic groups (Afghans, Arabs, Iranians, Turks etc.).

Now with a rabid Zionist entity attacking everyone in the region, we need to unite politically as Muslim nations and do what should have been done many decades ago.

So personally I am very happy about this news but I hope that it will result in tangible results on the military front but also economic front and in key sectors such as agriculture, healtcare, infrastructure, petrochemicals, IA, technology, renewables, tourism and everything else. For the benefit of ordinary people in both countries, not just elites.

Pak–Saudi Defense Pact: A Lifeline in Disguise, Says Shaheen Sehbai

By Pakistanithinktank

Veteran Pakistani political analyst Shaheen Sehbai has raised critical questions about the newly announced defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, suggesting that the pact is less about strategic cooperation and more about financial survival for Islamabad.

The defense pact comes amid heightened tension in the Middle East, following an Israeli missile strike on Qatar that targeted Hamas leaders. This unprecedented attack, widely condemned by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and multiple Arab states, has sent shockwaves through the region. Sehbai argues that this escalation has prompted Riyadh to secure visible support from Islamabad, even if Pakistan is in no position to provide meaningful military protection.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share a long standing military relationship. Since the 1970s, Pakistan has provided training, advisors, and even ground forces to support Saudi defense initiatives. However, Sehbai notes that much of this cooperation has been symbolic rather than operational, aimed more at maintaining diplomatic favor and securing financial aid.

According to Sehbai, the new agreement is unlikely to significantly bolster Saudi defense capabilities. Pakistan’s military is stretched thin, facing internal security challenges in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The pact, therefore, primarily serves as a political and financial lifeline. Saudi Arabia may provide oil on credit, cash infusions, and investment promises to stabilize Pakistan’s struggling economy. Generals and retired officers may gain lucrative overseas assignments, offering personal incentives rather than strategic depth. Pakistan can also showcase the pact as evidence of regional influence, even as its capacity to intervene meaningfully in Middle Eastern conflicts remains limited.

Sehbai links the urgency of the pact directly to the Israeli strike on Qatar, suggesting it acted as a “wake-up call” for Gulf states. The attack has amplified the perception of regional threat and underscored the need for rapid diplomatic and military coordination, compelling Saudi Arabia to secure Pakistan’s participation.

Pakistan’s economy is heavily indebted, with loans from the IMF and other international creditors limiting policy flexibility. In this context, Sehbai argues, the pact is less about mutual defense and more about economic necessity. Saudi Arabia strengthens its regional posture, while Pakistan gains temporary financial relief and international visibility but the imbalance is clear: Pakistan’s military is unlikely to be deployed in any meaningful combat role outside its borders.

Many poltical analysts including Mr. Sehbai suggest that Pakistan and Saudi defense agreement is a classic example of form over substance. While Saudi Arabia gains political reassurance and financial leverage, Pakistan secures a temporary lifeline for its economy and military elite. Strategic autonomy remains elusive. From Sehbai’s perspective, the new defense pact is a tactical maneuver designed to address financial and political needs rather than a robust strategic alliance. Regional crises, such as the confirmed Israeli strike on Qatar, may accelerate these agreements but do not fundamentally alter the balance of power in the Gulf.

That is precisely how the colonisers were able to colonise the whole planet. Build lots of military capability and do surprise attacks non-stop just for the heck of it. They punished a whole town for one rebel.

Break the enemy's spirit and make him come to the conclusion that it is wrong to oppose you in the first place.

But seriously, a Saudi nuke test will do wonders for the Global South. What are the Europeans going to do? Refuse to buy oil and reject 100s of billions of investment $$ from the KSA? Telling you there is no time like the present!

No one should target civillians on purpose but as our American and European friends have told us, collateral damage at times is inevitable.
I don't think that any nuclear test will deter israel. Arabs need strong airforce and army. They can't rely on united states anymore. Yes i want pak to deploy it's forces globally. I follow hitler model. attack the enemy before it attacks you. destroy supply lines. bomb them and hit civilians. today nobody cares whether civilians die during war or not. example is gaza, ukraine etc. violence is sometimes better. it solves problems.

Now Iran will activate all the Imam Bargah across Pakistan to support Iranian political agenda and spit venom agaist Saudia . The old Persian empire still hates Arabs because Arabs caused their demise.

I firmly believe Iran will be fully back in the fold as all eyes turn towards Israel and the Greater Israel project.

Guys if other countries join, then it can be to deter Israel. Otherwise, it is the same 2015 deal against Yemen. @MastanKhan

I don't think so dude .. Iran and Saudia have more in common now, than they disagree with, and Iran fully understands the support Pakistan provided during the standoff and it understands that Pakistan help alot with building good relations with China aswell.

Hearing a few more countries joining?
